When He Calms the Storm

When he was born, a storm was present. He was born in a wealthy family, he's an only child, and he was special in a lot of ways. The moment he can think, he knew that he isn't like the other boys in his class, he knew that he is somewhere between male and female, he is in a body of a male human but his heart is of that of a female human. At age 5, he was taught a lot of things regarding how the world works, and how such things like emotions are unnecessary, he was taught not to have feelings or emotions. All of that was taught to him by his father. His father has mental illness. Every night before he goes to bed, his father always tells him that he is the greatest creation he has.

His mother is a control freak, his mother controlled every movement he had to make. He was taught by his mother about how to move elegantly, dress elegantly, and speak elegantly, every move he has to take must be calculated, he must never be dirty.

And his parents told him that he must never make contact with the people outside their mansion, because they are dirty and evil.

One day, he encountered a boy who was being bullied, having no emotions or care at all, he was about to ignore him, when he saw a flower on the floor, he picked it up, and said, "this flower will decide your fate. Shall i help him or not", and he picked out the petals of the flower one by one, while chanting the words "help, not help", finally he he picked the last petal which landed on the word help. So he helped the boy by almost killing the bullies. From then the boy he had saved follows him everywhere he goes. And that boy always insists on being his friend.

One day, the boy told him that he's liking him, and that he know that he shouldn't because they are both male, and matthew looked at the boy while holding a flower, and he crumpled the flower and looked at the boy while smiling, and the he said "do you still like me?", the boy was filled with fear that day and ran from him.

On his 13th birthday, something terrifying happened. On the day of his 13th birthday it was raining hard there's a storm that night, his father finally went totally insane, his father told him that he was to be tested, and this will test his emotions which he shouldn't have said by his father. There, his father killed his mother in front of him, and his father told him to keep a poker face, and once he shows any emotions or facial reaction he'll be killed too. And there he saw his mother laying down in her own blood. And this messed matthew's head. After that day unbeknownst to his father, he called the police and told them what happened, he acted like he was crying when in fact there's not a single tear in his eyes, but in the inside he's drowning in tears. And that day everywhere he goes, storm comes with him and accompany him. And he lived his life alone. He became successful in everything he does. Although he became successful, the nightmare that his father will kill him the moment he shows emotions hunts him.

He was born in a poor family, he was the youngest child, he has a mentally disabled brother, he has no father. When he was a child he wasn't given the attention and affection he needs, his mother was so focused at his mentally disabled brother that, he was often forgotten by his mother. Despite of this things, he tried his best to understand his mother and brother, even though deep inside of him he wanted to be loved like his brother, but he just keeps it inside of him.

One day, some kids are bullying him by throwing stones and some things at him, he was being kicked amd laughed at by having a mentally disabled brother, the physical pain that is being inflicted on him was being more painful and he thought he was gonna die, but suddenly a boy with no expressions came up to them and things happened so fast, and he just saw that they're surrounded by a lot of people and that the kids who is bullying him is on the ground and is not moving. The no expression kid dragged him out of the crowd and called an ambulance for him, and after that he was taken care of at the hospital, but his mother is nowhere to be seen, his mother is busy feeding his brother that she can't go to him.

On that day he decided to follow the boy that saved him, he follows this no expression kid almost everyday, every where he went. One day, on a vast land where the grass are starting to turn brown, he confessed his feelings to the boy with no expression. But the boy looked at him with a flower on his hands and he suddenly crumpled the flower and he looked at him and smile and said "will you still like me?", the boy with no expression asked and he just ran away from him because he was scared of the boy's smile.

On his 16th birthday, he was alone at their house, he wasn't expecting anything because his mother have already forgotten about his birthday, but in that day, a storm suddenly came and it rained down. In the middle of the night policemen came at their house, and he was devastated when the police told him that both his mother and his brother was found dead at a flower field, both was killed by a drunk man who was driving a truck. Since then he blamed himself by not taking care of both his mother and brother, and he decided to work as a psychiatrist to compensate for his mother and brother. He swore that he's gonna take care of those patient.
