The young General is assigned with a task, a mission. For him to rise further in the hierarchy of the Order he has to befriend and calm it's rowdy and conflicted figurehead.

This is a short piece of literature that I wrote this summer. It will include about seven chapters that take place somewhere in between The force awakens and The last Jedi and the plot is independent from the movies, despite some brief mentions of the Resistance's location. The birth of this short story came when one reader requested a sequel to my Kylo Ren fanfiction "Denying" which I finished a long time ago and in truth had few intentions to proceed with. However, I gave it a try to pick up the OC I wrote for "Denying" and the poor plot I came up with which went along side the original plot for The force Awakens. In my study of the movies and characters I must admit I fell for another ship which has grown to be one of the largest ships in the Star Wars fandom, Kylux. So instead of writing a sequel to my first work I decided to simply write a whole other story which focuses on the rather hateful relations between General Hux and Kylo Ren. I wrote this with no intention to publish it, but after finished I realized that when I did not put so much pressure into the work which I usually do I found myself truly liking what I had written. I hope you will as well.
