His Little Mate

Chapter One

Hailey POV:

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

"Ugh ok I'm up I'm up" I said as a get up for my very cold bed because I don't have a blanket

I walk to the bathroom and I'm always so disappointed with who I see in the mirror, "I'm so ugly no wonder my dad hates me" I say as I leave the bathroom unable to look at myself.

I change into school clothes they aren't clean because my dad didn't let me clean them so I guess I'm gonna get stared at again great

I make my way down stairs and there my dad is on the couch past out drunk as usual, I walk to the kitchen in hopes there is something I can eat because he sure has hell doesn't feed me

I find nothing and make my way out the door very quickly but quietly so I didn't wake him, I always walk to school and luckily it isn't the far of a walk

After I get there and walk through the doors I hear all the people whisper things like "eww" "why is she so dirty" and "I bet she wears hoodies because she's fat" and I laugh at the last one because they have no idea how little I eat and how skinny I am, in all honesty it scares me how skinny I am

* skip to end of school *

Has I'm walking out of school I don't see my dad and I take a deep breath "I'm safe" I whisper to myself, I started walking home but all the sudden I feel eyes on me and I thought I shouldn't look scared because it's probably just someone walking by but when I turn around there is no one anywhere so I walk faster and I still feel it I was 10 minutes from my house but there is a short cut if I go through the woods that only takes 5 minutes so I say screw it and walk into the woods but then I hear this horrible grawling sound and I take off running

I stop running because all the sudden I feel safe, I turn around and i was met with gorgeous green eyes on a big black wolf and I felt safe like he wasn't gonna hurt me, why don't I feel scared?

"hello" I say in a shakey voice

It doesn't say anything it just goes behind a tree I just wait but I don't know what's going on finally it comes back but as human with clothes on

"hello" it said and the sound of it's voice made my body tremble

"Who are you? What are you? I say confused

"My name is Hunter and I'm a Werewolf and you my love are my mate" it said with hope in its eyes

"Please don't eat me I promise I won't tell anyone about you I have no friends to tell" I said scared and confused

It only laughed at what I said
"Well I'm not gonna eat you like that" it said with a smirk

"But I'm not letting you get away, I just found you and you have no Idea how long I've been waiting to meet you and take you home" it said looking almost sad

"Eww no I would never let you do that" I faked looking disgusted but something in me wanted it to and it scared me

"And I can't go home with you I'm sorry my dad is waiting for me" I said and I turned around and started running away but next thing I know I'm being pinned too a tree very carefully with it towering over me and it's hands on my waist and after 4 seconds it let go and looked at me horrified and that's when I knew it was disgusted with me and a tear fell from my eye as i look away from it

"Look at me" it's voice was strong but soft at the same time, I look up and it looked sad and scared?

"Why did you do this to yourself?" It asked and it's just then I thought maybe I should tell it, everytime I say it my heart hurts and I don't know why so maybe I should try calling it him

"I didn't.....my dad doesn't feed me and he hits me" I say and I regret it the second I said it because I promised I wouldn't tell anyone because my dad would hurt me

"You're coming home with me right now " he said with so much anger in his eyes and it wasn't aimed at me. And look at that my heart doesn't hurt anymore maybe because I called it a him so I guess ill start doing that because I feel like I can trust him

"My dad would kill me if I don't make him dinner before he woke up" I say looking serious because he probably would, Hunter let out a horribly long and loud grawl and his eyes got darker and it really scared me so I slide down the tree and hugged my knees, he moves back a few steps and I can feel him looking at me realizing that he scared me he bent down and sit in front of me

"I'm sorry I scared you my love" he said sounding like he met it
"I just can't stand the thought him even touching you again let alone killing you" he said

I looked up and his eye were normal again and they were gorgeous something in me wanted to kiss him so bad right then and there but that would be weird and I can't do that

"Please come with me" he said begging me but had no intention on taking no for an answer then as I was about to say no everything went black
