Chapter five

Hailey POV :

I woke up and for the first time I felt Hunter dead asleep spooning me, I try to turn around so I'm facing him so I can look at him but his arm is holding me in place as if to prevent me from leaving I thought about leaving so he can see what it's like to wake up alone without me but I thought that was mean and I really just want to enjoy this

I was able to turn around so I was facing him and I just took in how gorgeous he was I mean his face was perfect and he as perfect dark brown hair you would think it's black from a far, I just couldn't help myself from reaching my hand up to touch it, I ran my fingers through it and he grawled a little but not in a scary way like you can tell he was loving it because when I stop he groaned and pulled me closer to him so I wouldn't stop so I continued running my fingers through his soft fluffy hair

"God I could wake up like this every day my love" he said in the sexiest morning voice I have ever heard god way do I want to kiss him so bad?

"I'm sorry for waking you up I just couldn't help myself you're hair looked so soft" I said looking into his eyes that there now open looking at me

"So you're birthday is tomorrow" he said trying to change the subject

"Right" I said still with my fingers in his hair and looking at him

"Do you want to do anything tomorrow?" He asked closing his eyes enjoying this

"Idk maybe we could go out to eat, I haven't been out to eat since I was like 7 " I said shyly knowing I'm probably asking to much

"Well I'd have to take you out of pack territory but I don't think that'll be a problem" he said shrugging his shoulders

"Pack territory?" I asked confused

"The land we are on is mine and my pack lives in it and they can't leave until they ask because outside the territory there are humans and I don't want any accidents" he said looking at me hoping I understand that he's saying

"So why do we have to leave to eat? Are you scared they'll hurt me?" I asked kinda scared of his answer

"No, they won't hurt you that's not what I might by accident, I might one of them getting hurt by humans" he said explaining to me

"Why would a human hurt them if we don't know you guys are real?" I asked confused again

"There are human hunters that know we're real my love" he said sweetly while rubbing my back
"And to answer your other question, we can't go out to eat in the pack territory because I don't want them to meet you until we mate or I mark you" he said smiling at me

"Mark me?" I asked confused again my god there is so much I don't know

"Remember when Amy said I would bite you?" He asked and I just nodded my head

"Well that is what marking is, I'll bite you right here in your neck where it meets your shoulder and it'll heal and other wolf's will see it and know you're mine" he said smiling at the last part

"Won't it hurt?" I asked scared

"Only for a minute then you'll feel the pleasure of our souls becoming one" he said smirking at me and kissing my head, wow that's alot to take in

"What about the other part Amy was talking about?" I asked and mostly knowing what Amy was talking about but I just want to see if he'll get uncomfortable answering it

To my surprise he got on top of me and put his mouth by my ear

"I'm sure you know what she was talking about but I'll explain it anyway" he said and pulled away from my ear so I took see his face and of course he's smirking at me
"In order to finish the mating process we have to have sex my love" he said not sugar coating it at all, I just looked at him surprised he just said it but I guess he is ok being honest when we're alone which means sense because we are mates and we are literally spending the rest of our lives together
