One step closer?

Still bewildered by the situation, I decided to head back to the room. Thankfully my mum was still asleep. I then quickly changed my clothes, and opened the curtain to the small window by the bed. I gingerly laid in the slim spot that was left for me. While laying down, hearing the soft snores of my family, I looked out the window. "Such a beautiful scenery. Not everyday you get to see something like this. ", I said quietly. Strangely the moon reminded me of the girl. The moon so big and mysterious, with two different sides to it. One dark, and one full of light. " Yes, like the moon.... Just like the moon", I said before drifting into a deep sleep. It was now the next day. The sun shining brightly in the sky, and the moon being no where to be seen. My mind still focusing on the girl being like the moon. "Mum", I called out to my waking mother. " Yes Scott? ", she answered after a yawn. " Have you ever met someone who's mysterious? ", I asked. " Yes, why do you ask?. Did you perhaps meet someone like that? ", she replied curiously. "Yes... a girl, and I tell you there is something strange about her. ", I replied. " Hmm, what's so strange about a random missy?" She asked with a smirk. " Wait I don't like her or anything, I just think she has a strange aura about her." I said staring my mother in the eye. "Strange aura?, hah your the last to talk about strange. I can hardly even understand you my own son. For you to think someone else is strange is just ridicu-", she stopped talking after seeing my frown. " Listen Scott, I don't mean to offend you but, you should maybe get to know that girl first before calling her strange. Now up! It's time to eat breakfast. "She said patting my head before waking up my brothers. My mum didn't understand at all. Yes talking to the girl would maybe cure my curiosity. But every chance I get, she always seems to dissapear. It makes me feel like the sun that outshines the moon. Both sun and moon in the sky, yet one is still seen more than the other. Her presence made it hard to focus on anything, even my food. My mother noticed how focused I was and didn't bother to talk to me about the situation for the remainder of the morning. Time had passed and it was now afternoon. I was at the upper deck all day with high hopes of seeing the girl again. But to no luck, she still had not appeared. Scott why are you so bloody upsessed with this girl!?, I thought to myself. Sadly, that was one question that I couldn't find the answer to. I finally mustered enough courage to ask the captain for help. I left the upper deck and head to the captain's suite. I was about to knock on the door until I heard someone yell. "Aggh what do ya mean turn this ship around!?." Shouted a voice that sounded like captain. "I don't care if yer a rich person, I'm not turning this ship around"., he said sternly. I couldn't find the courage to knock, so I eavesdroped instead. " Sir my daughter is sick you must turn it around!", yelled another voice. "Listen Mr Winfrey, but there is nothing I can do for ya. We're already on day 2 of the cruse. I can't just stop the blasted ship just because of some sick little lass", captain replied. " Too much people payed there money for this trip. Now with that being said please leave", those were captain's last words to the man. "Alright then, if anything happens to my daughter I'm suing", the man named Mr Winfrey said before opening the door to leave. I quickly backed away and acted as if I just entered the hall. Mr Winfrey slammed the door then looked at me. " Hey there young man", he said before proceeding to walk. Then, it hit me!. Mr Winfrey has a daughter. I took this moment to find the girl. "Wait sir, could I perhaps go with you to see your daughter? " I asked in hopes that he would say yes. "Hmm, I don't see why not. It not like she has friends anyways. So come along", he said before turning his head and walking away. Yes!, I felt as though I was a step closer to unmasking this mystery.
