After we finished admiring the babies, we all went back to the apartment. I don't know what it was exactly, but everyone had an excited feel to them. They were all smiling and looked like they were about ready to explode from happiness. I was just ready to be done with today. I mean I love Lindsea and Brad and their new beautiful kids, but I just found out I lost two more.

"Who's up for drinks?" Joe said with a devilish smile. He went over to the midget refrigerator and pulled out a case of Caronas. Steven grabbed one for me but I blew him off and walked into our room slamming they door behind me. It got really quiet and then a few akward whispers started and everyone was all perky again.

Some part of me didn't want to feel happy. I collapsed into the bed and just started bawling my eyes out. I wasn't even sure why I was crying really, but I didn't want stop. Then I heard someone knock on the door.

"Sammi? You okay?" It was Joe and Steven. I really didn't want to talk, so I didn't answer. The next thing I knew the handle was shaking. The spare key. I complete forgot about that.

They walked in and sat almost awkwardly on the bed. I slid over to Steven and leaned on him.

"So..." He said stroking my hair.

"Is this about Jenn? The baby? What?" Joe asked.

"I don't know." I mumbled mindlessly staring at the headboard.

"You don't-" Joe started to say, but I saw Steven shoot him a glare from the corner of my eye.

"I mean. How would you feel if you were me?" I sat up and slid back over so I was facing them. "If YOU had just lost to things VERY important to you, and gained to other important things all in one day?!" I was starting to yell at Joe and felt really bad about it.

"You don't think the kid mattered to me? That your kid didn't mean anything to me?!" He snapped back.

"You told her to get a fucking abortion! Obviously he didn't mean that much to you!" Steven shot back at him moving closer to me protectively. I know it was a bad time. To do it, but I couldn't help but realize Steven said he. Did that mean he wanted a boy?

"I don't have to deal with this shit," Joe said walking out of the room shaking his head.

I turned to Steven, but he wouldn't look at me. He just stared down at his hands. I threw my arms around him and he reached up and hugged onto them, but he still wouldn't look me I the eyes.
