Your POV
I woke up to the sun beaming in my face. Then I quickly got out of bed and woke Deku.
“D-Deku, it's time to get up..” I softly shook him and saw his eyes flutter open. Aww, Cute… NO!.. WAIT Y/n what are you thinking?! He barely knows you!! “Oh.. goodmorning Y/n!” He said, sitting up.
“Did you sleep ok last night in the closet?” I asked, he smiled and nodded.
“Yep!” He responded sitting up.
“Good! ok get dressed, I want you to take me to where you were brought to when you came here.” I said, he nodded in response. I gave him some clothes then got myself some. He went to change in the bathroom. I changed into a f/c shirt with short jeans (But short jeans like only an inch away from your knee, so not like really short shorts) while Deku changed to a white T-shirt with black basketball shorts with white streaks on both sides. I grabbed my backpack and we both went downstairs.
“Ok, we should both take a little something for lunch, we might be out for a while.” I informed him.
“What else will we be doing?” Deku asked, I pulled stuff out to make a sandwich. (I'm sorry if you don't like sandwiches)
“Well, we need to see where the portal opened, then we need to see if it will come back to the original spot or if it moved, and when it will be back.” I answered, he nodded. We both made sandwiches, put them in my backpack, grabbed snacks that we could, then stepped out of the house.
“So.. what's it like in this dimension?” Deku asked, I tilted my head, thinking.
“Well for one.. Anime is pretty popular, but also gets made fun of.. and that's actually what the show you’re in, it's an anime, I’ll show you when we get back but yeah…” I answered, trying to think of examples.
“So, you guys are just all normal?” Deku asked, I nodded my head yes.
“Yep.. and there are no heroes… only villains..” I said, he looked at me sadly.
“May I ask… how long has your mother been like that?” he asked, I looked up at him.
“Well.. she’s always been rude, but when s/n and dad died 3 months ago, she started drinking and got worse… then she started ‘punishing me’ and by that I mean hitting me… so I got into anime and escaped from this world into that one…” I said, he looked at me with sympathy.
“I-I’m sorry you went through that…” Deku said, I smiled and shook my head.
“It’s fine.. It's not your fault… I just wish that we could get you back home, your friends must be so worried!” I said,he smiled.
“Yeah, and I’m probably a burden for you, sorry!” Deku said, my eyes widened.
“No! You’re not a burden at all!!” I said, he laughed.
“Thanks.. This is the spot.” Deku pointed to where the portal had been.
“Ok.. it was here, it might open back up..” I said, thinking of when it could open. Deku looked at me.
“Might?” he questioned,seeming a little scared.
“Well, I’m not completely sure it will open up.. But if it does, it will probably open in about three days..” I said, he now seemed sad.
“So.. I might be stuck here?” He asked, I looked at him.
“No. I will get you home… No matter what!” I said confidently. He gave a weak smile.
“Thanks Y/n…” He said.
