Ch.6 Scared of lightning?

Your POV

My eyes widened as Deku’s lips softly went against mine. I soon started kissing back. A few seconds later we separated and Ziona looked at us in shock and anger.
“Is that proof enough for you?” Deku asked her, she just growled, mumbled something and stomped out.
“I-I u-uhhh w-wha…” I started stuttering as I could feel the blush on my face, and I saw him blushing too.
“Y-Y/n? S-sorry!” Deku apologized, I finally snapped out of it.

 “No, don't apologize.. Thank you.. I-I just wasn't expecting that!” I said. That was my first kiss.. and it was awesome!! I never told him I’ve always had a crush on him.. Ever since I had started the show.. and hanging out with him just made my feelings stronger. We got the rest of the groceries, paid and left. On the way we were silent, until I broke the silence.
“Back there.. Why did you kiss me?” I asked, he looked at me.
“Why did you kiss back?” He asked, a slight blush crept on my face.
“Uhh I was just going along…” I lied, I actually really liked it.
“Mhm…” He answered, giving me that ‘I don't believe you’ face, it was silent again.
“Y’know I liked it too.” He said with a smile, the blush went a little deeper shade of red.
“Like what?” I asked, he looked at me. 

“Heh, don’t play dumb.” He stated.
“Ah look we’re here!” I said getting to the front door. We stepped inside the house and unpacked the groceries, then headed upstairs. It was now 3:00 in the afternoon so I had no idea what to do, so we just sat in my room.
“Uhh more anime?” I asked, he smiled and nodded.
“More anime!” He answered, we then watched more anime on my laptop.

Deku POV 

As we watched the anime, I didn't really pay attention to what was going on and instead, thought about earlier. When I kissed Y/n, I expected her to push me away, but instead she kissed back, I know I was enjoying her lips against mine, but she also seemed to be enjoying it.. I know I like her.. But does she like me back? Well I think I have the perfect plan for tomorrow… Suddenly, me and Y/n heard footsteps, Y/n quickly pushed me into the closet and kept the door cracked so I could see what was going on, then her mother burst through the door and walked up to her.
“I need more money.. NOW!!” Her mother said, Y/n quickly grabbed some cash and gave it to the woman, her mom quickly grabbed the money then walked back out,obviously drunk or high.

Your POV

When my mom burst through the door and asked for more money, I quickly grabbed a $20 bill and 3 $1 bills and put the 20 over the ones so my mom would think it was more money and would leave us alone. When she left I took Deku out of the closet.
“Sorry about that..” I said, he gave a little smile.
“It’s fine! It’s not your fault!” He answered. I then realized it was now 5:30.
“Hey we should probably get dinner.” I suggested, Deku smiled and nodded. We went down in the kitchen and made some f/f for both of us. When we were done, we went back to my room.
“Oh, looks like it’s raining..” Deku said as he looked out the window, I looked outside, it was raining hard.
“Please don’t be a storm…” I mumbled. We went back to my room and watched more anime.

 I was trying to hold my fear back, but then there was a loud roar of thunder and I winced, Deku looked at me and smirked.
“Are you afraid of the lighting and thunder?” He asked me.
“N-no!” I stuttered. Again a loud roar of thunder boomed. I winced and put a blanket over my head. Deku lifted up the blanket.
“Really?” He asked, I rolled my eyes.
“Fine, maybe I have a fear of thunder and lightning..” I mumbled but just enough so he ould hear. Honestly I don't like any loud noises.

(Sorry if you’re not scared of lightning it's for story progression -_-) 

He took the blanket off me.
“There’s no need to be afraid of it, it’s just thunder.” He said, another crash of thunder came and a little squeak came from my mouth as I hugged Deku. He then started stroking my hair.
“It’s just thunder, it won’t hurt you.” He was assuring me.
“But the lightning can!” I answered, he chuckled.
“We’re inside, so it can't really.” He answered. We both laid down on the bed as he cuddled me, I fell asleep a few minutes later.
