Meeting Childhood

After some years....

Some years passed. And Vrinda grew up into a ten year old. Between these years 3 other girls were also born. Maharani mata vijaya gave birth to one more girl and named her Vaishali. While maharani Saivanthri also begot 2 girls Aditi and Advaita.

The bond between the sisters grew so much that they could not stay away for even a minute. Vrinda was the eldest. She was also very kind, loving and caring and therefore loved her younger sisters. During the morning they went to the palace gardens or maybe gardens near the ashrams of Rishis.

Like that they spent each and every day loving each other and spending time with each other. One such day mata Vijaya and mata Saivanthri came to Advaita's room where all the 4 were sitting. As soon as they saw their Matas enter their chamber they got up to greet them.

"Pranipat mata Vijaya, pranipat mata Saivanthri", they said in unison.
The mother's nodded smiling. Little did the kids know, the mothers weren't smiling instead they were beaming, unusually.

Then Vaishali asked "why are you smiling Matas??"
Mata Vijaya started "kids, our Childhood friend is coming for a visit"
Then mata Saivanthri said "not just friend didi, she is our best friend". Mata Vijaya nodded smiling at her.
"Who is this friend of yours mata", asked Vrinda curious to know who this best friend of theirs were
"She is the rajmata of Hastinapur, mata kunti"
The girls were curious to know more. Clearly reading the expression on their faces ,mata Saivanthri said " kids, mata Kunti has 5 children, they are known as the Pandavas as they are the the son of maharaj pandu".
"Will maharaj pandu also come?"asked Advaita. Soon the smile on the face of both the mothers faded. Then both of the mothers put on a forced smile on their faces. Then mata Vijaya started,"putri, maharaj Pandu have 2 wives, mata Kunti and mata Madri. Maharaj Pandu due to some reason which is unknown to us, went to live in the forest. There mata Kunti got 3 sons, Yudhishthir, Bheem and Arjun. While mata Madri was blessed with twins nakul and sahadev.
And they lost their father and mata Madri. So mata Kunti returned to Hastinapur with the 5 children and gives love and care for the 5 of them equally". finished mata Vijaya.

All the 4 felt sad after listening to this. Then suddenly Vrinda asked "mata, are the 5 brothers coming?", "Yes", replied mata Saivanthri.
"Don't worry mata, we will be careful not to talk about maharaj Pandu and mata Madri in front of them. Infact we will have a lot of fun with them that they will completely live in the present" Vrinda said joyfully.

Both the Matas smiled at this statement and the other 3 nodded excitedly waiting for the Pandavas to arrive. Then after some conversations the 4 of them found out that the Pandavas will be staying with them in Mithila for a few days. After some time both the Matas left for the kitchen.

Vrinda's POV:

I told my sisters to treat the Pandavas like our own brothers. To this statement of mines Vaishali said "no worries didi, we will love our brothers so much that they will completely forget about Hastinapur", and I was glad to hear this.

Soon mata Vijaya came to our chambers and asked us to go outside for sometime instead of sitting inside all the time.
We listened to her and went to the garden near Maharshi Yajnyavalkya's ashram.

We went near the lake and we saw 2 beautiful swans as white as snow. They were so beautiful that I was mesmerized towards its beauty. I just kept on staring at it. Soon Aditi broke the silence "I can't wait for the Pandavas to arrive", "how come? I mean you have never seen them before, yet you are so excited to meet them", Vaishali asked back.
"Oh I don't know why, but I just get a very nice and pleasent feeling on just hearing the name 'pandavas' , so what a nice feeling it would be to see then with our own eyes" Aditi said.
I don't know why, but right now I just have the exact feeling and was so excited to meet them. Mata told they will be here before afternoon today, but it was almost going to be afternoon and my excitement to see them just kept on increasing.
Suddenly I heard loud music sounds of the big drums and I knew that this was usually played only when a guest arrived. We four got up and we ran towards the palace. By the time we reached the palace we noticed that the Pandavas and mata kunti were near the gates. Finally!!! The guests have arrived.
"Guests who were soon going to become family" I thought as I have told mata that we will keep them extremely happy.
