The end of BMC doesn't happen and Jeremy keeps his SQUIP. He has it for the rest of high school and stops being friends with Michael. Michael and Christine become close friends. Jeremy becomes friends with Chole, Rich, Jake, Brooke, and Jenna. He gets over his crush on Christine. Christine gets Michael into singing. Michael uses music to get out his emotions. When the gang is in their mid-twenties, after college, Rich and Jake drag Jeremy, Jenna, Chloe, and Brooke to a club where Michael band is playing. They didn't know Michael was in a band because they lost touch after high school. Christine is still good friends with Michael and does some backstage work for the band and sometimes sings on stage with them. Michael is the lead singer of the band. Michael is mad and Jeremy for ditching him. The rest of the gang tries to get Michael to forgive him and eventually tries to set them up.
