Chapter 23| Weird Question

Y/n's POV

I suddenly felt my phone vibrate in my pockets indicating I just received a new message. While Mr. Nam is writing on the board, I took that chance to open my phone to see who messaged me.

"Y/n Noona!!!!! Happy Birthday!!!!! I miss you and I love you!!!!!"

I chuckled quietly, trying not to get caught by Mr. Nam. Oh yeah, it's my birthday today. I looked at the message again that my younger brother sent me and smiled.

" Thank you Jinyoung-ah! I miss you and I love you too buddy~"

1 turned off my phone as soon as I replied. I looked around and sighed in relief when I saw that no one noticed me using my phone.

"Goodbye class" I jumped a little in my seat when Mr. Nam suddenly bid us goodbye. I checked my watch Wah, he dismissed us pretty early today. I'm not complaining though.

We said goodbye back and he immediately exit our classroom. Well, I guess he's in a rush. I just sat down in my seat and tapped my ballpen while waiting for the next teacher to come.

My phone vibrated again. I opened it and saw a message from our Music teacher. She said that she will be absent for today and no one willI replace her because all the teachers are busy making the final quarter exam. I get up and was about to announce it to the class but Hana suddenly stopped me

"Y/n-yah..." Hana came up to me. She was touching her forehead and she looks like she's in pain.

"Hana-yah? What happened?" I asked Hana worriedly. I put my palms on her forehead to check her temperature. Her temperature is normal but she look a bit pale.

"Gwenchana? (Are you okay?)" I asked her another question.

"My head is aching a little bit" She replied. I widened my eyes and try to support her when she was about to fall.

"Let's go to the clinic then" I told her. She shook her head and gave me a weak smile.

"I'm okay. I don't want to miss the morning class. Next subject is the last subject in the morning anyways" She said.

"Umm... do you have any peppermint oil that I can use?" She asked. I nodded at her and quickly get my peppermint oil from my bag. I gave it to her and help her go back to her seat.

"Don't worry, our music teacher will be absent today." I told her. She widened her eyes and smiled a little bit.

"Jinjja? (Really?)" She said, still smiling. I nod at her as a reply and help her sit.

"Me and Yejin will take you to the clinic later at lunch. You can stay there a little longer since there will be no Music class" I said.

"Just tell me if you need help okay? I still have to go in front to announce the news to everyone" I told her. She nodded in response and gave me a small smile. I left Hana and went in front to announce the news to everyone.

"Everyone listen up" I started. I tapped the teachers table three times to get everyone's attention. All of them stopped what they were doing and start listening to me.
