Elyssa's POV

We have been walking for how long?? My legs are starting to give up already. My walking pace reduced, just then (y/n) turned to check why I was walking slowly. "Want me to carry you? " (y/n) asked. I nodded. (y/n) then crouched down, "Climb up already couch potato. " "What did you say! " I asked anger seeping out. "Don't stand there or you will have to walk on your own" I didn't say anything and got on (y/n) as I didn't want to walk anymore. "Oi! Since when did you get strong to carry me? " I asked. "I am strong but I am too lazy to show you how strong I am." (y/n) said smirking. 'Why you!' I thought. "Ah! We reached!" (y/n) said walking near the door. I got off them as they opened their door. 'The house looks worn out..' I thought. The place was a mess not to mention blood was splattered all around the place. I winced at the sight. "Whose house is this? " I asked.

"My house"

I looked at my friend in shock, 'what in world happened here?' I thought. "Huh?" I asked, "This is my home." (y/n) replied blankly.
"W-what happened here??" I asked, unable to cover my shock. "Those creatures you saw outside." (y/n) said pointing towards the door. I nodded, "Mom and dad....well.." they said eyes getting watery trying to speak further. I understood that moment what happened. "I-I understand you don't have to explain I understood it!!" I said loudly waving my hands frantically. (y/n) stared for a minute surprised then I heard giggling and saw (y/n) laughing. "O-oi!! Stop laughing at me dammit!!" I screamed my face flushing with red colour embarrassment.

(After washing up and settling down in (y/n)'s room)

"Hey (y/n), how long do you think will this last?" I asked waiting for a reply....silence......I turned to see (y/n) sleeping near the window frame. The moonlight glowing on the slender body of (y/n)'s, hair short as usual, front bangs covering their face, a peaceful expression on their face. 'Must be hard to lose your family..' I thought. ' Good thing I live alone. '

(Flashback about what happened before (y/n) came to rescue her)

I entered home as usual, nothing new about that. Only thing off was that my windows were shattered. 'Did a robber get in?' I thought worried. I could hear voices in the kitchen, "Excuse me, but what ar-" I stopped midway looking at the people, no creatures there. "Aaaahh!!! What the hell are you creatures!!" I screamed. Those things turned towards me and started to reach for me, I stumbled and ran towards my room. I locked my door for safety. 'Shit! What are those?' I thought. 'Now I got to find a way out of this hellhole!' I looked around frantically. Just that second the bell rang. I sighed in relief when I checked from atop who it was...(y/n)...'Thank God! ' I smiled glad knowing that I'm going to get out.

(End of flashback)

No one's POV

(y/n) and Elyssa stayed there since then, away from any creatures and only went outside when supplies ran low. (y/n) changed a lot during that time, thankfully this didn't affect their old friendship.
