Melpomene's Pov
"I'm just saying if you're going to date my brother can you at-least make sure he doesn't steal you away from me 24/7"
"Sarah I'm not going to date you're brother. Him and I are just friends."
"Oh please Mel, the boy looks at you like if you're his greek goddess sent from heaven. He's in love with you"
"Oh shut it Sarah, you're young little mind sees love everywhere but once you get to my age you'll see that love is overrated"
"That's not fair Mel, what happened between you and Vince was not you're fault."
"It kinda was, anyways besides that can we go inside now my tans starting to burn. You know how sensitive I am"
"Sure, I'll take up the snacks while you set up the room"
Nodding at my command I grab my phone and run to the house. Entering the house I'm greeted by Wheezie Sarah's younger sister.
"Hey Wheez, whatcha up to?" I ask as I throw on a pair of shorts I left on the couch.
"Nothing much I'm waiting for a friend to come over so we can hang. Oh and Rafe's asking for you"
"Cool, see ya later Wheez!" I yell as I run up the stairs
Climbing the last step I reach the hallway where all the rooms were. Walking to the last door on the left I knock twice making sure Rafe knew I was at the door. Considering from what happened the last time I didn't knock I made sure to knock everytime now.
Once I heard a faint "come in" I opened the door and saw Rafe laying in bed.
"Asking for me?" I say climbing into his bed and grabbing his hands immediately playing with the rings on his fingers. Some people have a drinking addiction I have an addiction with playing with hands.
"Yes I was, I was wondering where my goddess was" he replies looking at me as I continue to play with his rings.
"I thought we said you'd stop calling me that"
"When did we say that?"
"When you said that if I rode on the back of you're bike then you'd stop calling me that"
"Hmm don't remember" he says
"Whatever. What does the Kook prince need? I have errands to run"
"You're leaving so soon?"
"Yes, Sarah and I are having a movie day."
"How about you ditch the movie day and you stay in bed here with me" he suggests looking to me for an answer
"Can't, today is Sarah day not Rafe day"
"I knew you'd say that, so I thought of a plan B"
"A plan B?" I ask confused
Before I knew it I feel Rafe climb on top of me and hold me down against the bed.
"This is you're plan B?! Hold me hostage?"
"Yes" he replies against my neck
Giggling at the sensation I lie there knowing damn well I wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.
"Can we at least watch Netflix?" I ask from under him.
"Whatever my goddess asks she gets" he replies grabbing the tv control.
"You do know Melpomene was not a goddess right? She's a muse" I say while taking the control from him and turning to my profile.
"Don't ruin that for me" he says while adjusting our positions so I was leaning on him as he wrapped his hands around my waist.
"Sorry love didn't mean to ruin it for you" I say snuggling into Rafe as I chose to watch Criminal Minds.
"Again? We just saw this last week?"
"You said whatever the goddess wants"
From the corner of my eye I can see Rafe smile as he leans down and leaves a kiss on my forehead. I would never tell anyone but I honestly love it when he did that.
10 minutes into the show Rafe's door is pushed open and revealed Sarah.
"Today was Sarah day!" She yells when she sees us on the bed.
"I was being held hostage. You didn't come save me" I reply
"Very Rafe of you to take her on my day" she says looking to Rafe
"Sorry sis but I needed my Mel today" he replies
"Whatever, I get her tomorrow though"
"Um I'm literally right here" I say as I look to the siblings
"Sorry babe" Rafe replies as he begins to draw circles on my back
"How cute? I'll leave you love birds alone"
As Sarah leaves the room I look up to Rafe.
"Can you believe she thinks that we'd ever be together? She thinks you're into me, I mean how crazy is that?" I joke looking back to the tv and laughing a bit of the idea of Rafe and I being a couple.
Rafe's Pov
Did I think it was crazy for Melpomene and I to be together? No, I love Melpomene I have ever since we were kids. But I've been to scared to tell her anything cause I was scared to lose her. Melpomene was the light of my life, she made me a better person.
