Authors note/quirk update! Please read!

ugh~ im probably gonna have to revise the info chapter!

  in case you haven't figured it out yet, because of her quirk, she has dissociative personality disorder.  more commonly known as split personalities. and usually when a spirit/myth takes complete control of her she doesn't remember the experience. not unless the event is traumatic, and could change her life for better or worse. the only example of this i have in the story as of now is when she gets her quirk. i don't know if it will happen again as i am just going where the wind blows on this half-assed book. 

she also does not know she can summon her creatures, including normal animals, outside of herself. she thinks she can only turn into them and summon their weapons. this i decided to add as a plot twister, and yes, it will tie into the rest of the story. this however takes a lot of energy, as in the previous chapter the divine creatures came of their own will (A.K.A the only ones her power summoned was the actual animals) it didn't take energy she couldn't replenish within a 24 hour time stamp. in this case, around 13 and a half hours.

 storm is not a separate personality, she only thinks its weird to be called a what she deems a female name as a male person. therefor she named that body. most of her characteristic stay the same when she turns genders, or even non-binary. with a few exceptions like her genitalia/overall shape. for example her hair eyes and skin stays the same. while on the other hand her bosom/ curve and voice do not. it only takes energy for her to turn male, meaning once she has done so, she could stay like that forever unless she changed her mind. and as her birth gender is female, i will continue to address her as such. she is not trans, she simply has the ability to become male at any given moment.

no hate on LGBT+ either because i don't hate anyone. however i do not condone homophobia/trans-phobia etc. in any way shape or form. i actually try to show a little representation in this story. (hope that makes you happy BTW) HOWEVER, there may be some hate on this kind of thing later in the story <hint, hint> it will be dealt with, don't worry.

yes technically she could reproduce asexually, although that would only create a clone of herself and that would be creepy. she can impregnate  other women. and she could become pregnant herself although in this time she is trapped her biological form, and can not shift. the only aspect of her quirk that would be available would be to summon weapons, which lets be honest here, wouldn't be very practical should she actually have to fight while growing a human inside of her.

some have asked me to clarify a few specific things in my personal life.  such as one or two things above. the next thing is her quirk drawbacks, a strong power needs strong drawbacks to even the scale.

number one, she has different drawbacks for each aspect. number two, she only hears the voices of sentient forms. meaning not the normal animals such as pandas or gorillas. number three, she gets muscle tremors that are almost like seizures if she turns to many times regardless within a certain amount of time. number four, a partial take over is most common compared to a full takeover. this means scarlett can still see, hear, feel, and taste things. but she cant control her actions. she is rarely able to stop this from happening. number five, scarletts 'quirk' is not completely a quirk. she enters into a thing called a spirit contract. i think its pretty self explanatory but let me tell you anyway.

a spirit contract is when a legend/myth makes a kind of 'deal' with scarlett. in turn for scarlett to use the sentient beings power, they must be able to take over her body, and speak with her. when a contract is formed, a piece of each party's souls merge. they can talk with her telepathically due to this.  not every contract is successful. if they are not compatible it will be impossible to forge a healthy bond that wont poison them from the inside out. if a contract is broken, they will be in pain and a piece of their soul will disappear. there can be multiple contracts with the same genera type of myth. for example the mer-people, and the naga.

number six, her body shapes to form for EVERY part of her quirk, including the flying. this goes unnoticed by most, but scarlett is very symmetrical for aerodynamic purposes. her bones hollow quickly just before lift off. her lungs are always larger than a normal humans is without the help of their quirk. when she is not flying her bones become more dense for strength and they are no longer hollow. number seven, i takes just as much energy to fly as it doe to jog/speed walk. if she is gliding in a jet stream it does not consume so much energy. the reason she is so good at flying is because she has trained and flown days at a time. although the last time that happened she glided in a jet stream for almost a week and a half, only coming down to eat/ hunt as she was living of the land for almost 3 months. when she returned to her grandparents home, she passed out before she even hit the ground.

number eight, she can hear the voices of All of her contracted forms, those are the sentient ones, although two are prominently louder than the others and are almost always active. most voices stay dormant until needed as they have their own worlds and lives. however they all enjoy her company. 

number nine, if a form does not want to shift, then it wont. again a forced shift is painful, no matter who initiates it. although more risks are taken when scarlett does so, this would potentially break the bond/contract between her and said form.

number ten, mental breakdowns are not uncommon as she often overuses her quirk. the voices in her head will cause her to either shut down and go into a state of deep depression until they shut up, or she will temporarily go crazy.

number eleven, she would always prefer to use a non sentient creature as they have less drawbacks. most times however she can not fulfill this preference because she either needs more power or i honestly forgot about that part of her quirk and am to lazy to go back and fix it

moving on, her horns, tail, and wings can go away depending on form. they can also chance shape on her biological form, this takes little to no energy. again it only takes energy to change the form of that extra body part. although she has grown used to her usual ones so she dubbed those her 'defaults'.

scarlett has a cold/ monotone voice almost all the time. basically like Todoroki's but for a girl. her permanent can change color and shape. by this i mean she could have a set of neon yellow ram horns, hummingbird wings, and nine tails. they is just always those three permanent details.

there, that is all about her drawbacks. damn i just realized this whole authors not is almost as long as a normal chapter. that means almost all of the 8 people reading this ff wont read this far. anyway later mah guys, girls, and non binary pearls.
