Tears started rolling down her eyes. It was very hard to resist the tears. The whole room felt so hot and humid. Heart squeezed and throat dry, she had known this would happen and was mentally prepared for this yet, when the day came it was more than she could bear.

Her cousins were busy setting her make up. Verily, she is the fairest of them all and the make up enhanced it even more. Thick eyeliner, seducting red lips and piercing blue eyes, a true definition of beauty sat there, lifeless motioning her body accordingly to her cousins' wishes. No one knew her pain.

"Sameera...." Ahlam called...almost whispering. The moment Sameera heard her voice, tears that she tried so hard to pull in ran down uncontrollably and she looked back searching for the owner of that voice.

"Girls, get out of the room. I will take care of the rest" Ahlam said chasing out all others from the room. The moment Ahlam locked the door, Sameera hugged her letting out all the emotions she had been carrying the whole week.

"Where were you?.....I.....I don't know what to do. Ahlam....this can't be happening...please..please just get me out of this..take me somewhere else" she stuttered. Her sobbing incerasing momentarily. Her cries getting louder and louder. Ahlam and Sameera are friends since childhood. They both knew each other more than their mother. And Ahlam knew Sameera loved Raahil more than anyone...

"Shh... Sameera, there nothing more we can do. Its already the time, you should give up. Everyone have gathered for your marriage. There is no way we could back off now. It will bring shame to our families. You are the one who always says when Allah closes one door he opens another for you. Believe him, he will bring good to you. He knows everything. May be Raahil is not the one for you...." Ahlam patted her back and slowly Ahlam could feel Sameera,s breaths coming back to normal.

Flashback

"I WON'T ALLOW THIS, THERE IS NO WAY I AM MARRYING YOU OFF TO THAT DRUNKARD'S SON" Sameera's mother shouted at her. She started hitting her. Each one getting stronger than the other. There was no one to help her even when her father, he looked sad....

"I am not marrying the one you choose for me. You go after money not my happiness" she said back only to receive more beatings. Her lips bleeding, eyes turned red yet her mother didn't stop.

"You are not getting any food from now and you are getting married next week. I don't want your permission for that. You marry the one I choose." Her mother ordered. She controlled the whole family. Even her father won't talk back at her mother. Her mother coming from a wealthy family had a dominating personality.

"Ali, seize her phone and laptop. Make sure Ahlam doesn't get to know anything. that girl will ruin everything." Her mother ordered to her father and he obeyed.

She sat there, bruises all over her face, lips bleeding yet nothing pained more than her heart did. Helpless... that's what she felt. Dreams didn't sound magical anymore...No one to pour her heart out. That day she slept crying.

The morning was beautiful, birds chirping and she opened her eyes hoping for another great day. Then she remembered everything that happened the other day. Suddenly the room felt cold and she knew there was no escape from it.

" Eat this , I don't want you to look malnourished on your wedding day.Apply this on your bruises. I don't eat their family to know about your disgusting relationship. I don't want them asking questions. Do you understand?" Sameera stayed motionless to her mothers threat.

"I said DO YOU UNDERSTAND??" Her mother mother shouted back making her startle from her own sad thoughts. A faint yes was the only thing she could say knowing that things wouldn't be like before, knowing that she has to marry someone who she didn't even know made her heart clench.

"Let me go inside...." She heard a familiar voice. That voice ..... its Raahil.

"Sameera....come outside. I am here to take you with me. Let me get you out of this." she heard him calling for her. She tried to open the door it was locked. She banged on the door until her hands bled.

"You are not taking her any where.." that dominating voice... her mother.

"Hit him till he loses his consciousness" she heard her mother ordering followed by her brothers beating him. She could hear his loud cries yet not giving up. Not even once.

"I WILL DO AS YOU WISH...please.. don't hurt him. I will do as you wish" she pleaded helplessly tears unable to be stopped. And that moment everything ended. There is no Raahil in Sameera's life and Sameera in Raahil's life. Fate had different plans for them. Yet both hearts longed for each other.
