The words ran through Remy's head as they paced back and forth throughout the dorm halls- lingering in the back of his mind. As much as he tried to forget them it was not helping.

                     "I love you!"

That was the last thing Remus had said to them before he rudely stormed out. Remus deserved it- right? He did hurt Janus, and Janus didn't deserve what happened to them, but Remy couldn't help feeling a small bit of pity for Remus. Remus did say he only stayed with Janus because he was scared he would hurt them if he left. He also confessed his feelings to someone who just left them there- not giving an answer, not even letting him explain himself. Just left.

The more he thought about it- the worse he felt. Did... Does Remus really deserve it? He can't control his feelings, can he? Remy's head filled with bad thoughts. Why did he do it? Why did he leave him there? Currently, Remy could not answer these questions, but he did question himself internally some more until he came to one conclusion.

He fucked up.

Janus was staying in Emile and Remy's dorm- sleeping in a blow-up mattress Logan bought for the heartbroken friend. They still went to classes- but moved to the other side of the room. Away from Remus.

Roman and Remy well... they are stuck on with sides of the stick- Roman is with his twin no matter what, and Remy understands Remus's side of the situation perfectly. Though Remy has not spoken to Remus due to the unavoidable awkwardness to come.

Remy didn't actually talk to anyone- which is kind of odd... he won't even talk to Emile. Whenever someone like Janus went to speak with them they simply ran off or made an excuse to leave. No one has spoken to Remy in 2 weeks now, but Janus is going to be the first.

Remy was walking down the semi-crowded hallways of the academy, avoiding any eye contact at all- trying hard to remain unseen. It seemed to be working though; thank god for that. He was about to reach his locker when he felt a harsh tug in his shirt- being pulled into an empty, dark classroom. Once the lights turned on he saw the person who dragged him in here. Janus.

Janus looked serious- arms crossed and putting their weight onto their left foot, rhythmically tapping their right foot in the ground.

"Oh- u-uh, Dee, Look I'd love to chat buuuuut I have to go to a friend's dorm! Yeah- we need to work on a song for our music class so..." Remy moved to leave the classroom, stoped by Janus grabbing his arm and pushing him

"Oh no, you don't! I am not going to take your lame excuses anymore. I want answers" Janus' time was harsh and stern, proving that he was indeed dead ass serious.

"Answers! What answers? I don't have any answers, what do y-" Remy started, being instantly cut off.

"I mean why aren't you talking to us! Any of us- not even Emile! Did we do something wrong?"

Remy fiddled with their own fingers, biting his lip slightly as he decided if he was going, to tell the truth, or not. The truth was much easier but lies might keep a friend. After considering his options he revealed his reasoning, "Dee... I feel guilty! The... One of the reasons Remus and you... Just... Look Remus liked me okay?! I don't like him- One-Hundred-Percent do NOT- but I feel bad..."

Janus was frozen, not even moving. Remy was about to ask him if he was okay but eas interrupted by laughter. Janus was... laughing? "Are you serious? That's why? You could have just told me!"

Remy's face reddened with slight embarrassment, "Look it's not that easy!"

Janus' laughter slowly calmed down, and they wiped away any tears she'd during that laughter fest. "Look, I'm not mad at you. What about we go get some froyo? I know an excellent Pinkberry nearby"

To that, Remy nodded eagerly- and the two set off to get froyo. Now on good terms.

              *—[]—*

Roman and Remus were in the school's large courtyard- tossing a football back and forth to each other. Most of what would have been silence were filled with jokes and stupid stories. The two would do activities like his quite often- simply toss a football and speak. This was their personal time. Just time to talk without being judged- just be themselves and have fun.

Roman caught the football and didn't toss it back this time- clearing his throat. "So... hows things going with everyone else after the uh... 'incident'" he did air quotes around the word incident, him using this word to describe the breakup.

Remus took in a deep breath, messing with his own fingers. "Not so good to be completely honest. I mean- it's better than them trying to stab me 69 times in the chest while I am asleep."

Roman rolled his eyes at his brother's odd idea of humor, "I mean- have you talked to anyone else than me yet?"

In response to that, Remus shook his head no. Roman let out a deep sigh; most likely sounding more disappointed than he was. "Remus you need to talk to them! You can't just hide from them forever. They were- er... are your friends!"

"Roman they were Janus's friends before mine! I do not think they would like to become all chatty with me after what I did."

          "But you have to-"

"Roman- drop it!" Remus sounded annoyed and definitely anger. Most likely because he was. Roman decided to stop pushing his brother's buttons; going silent and nodded. He threw the football and the game of catch continued.
