Sam's POV

Colby's currently laying in my arms, fast asleep. I shift slightly so he's laying more on my chest but he wakes up. 

"Hmm, what happened?" 

"We were talking and you fell asleep. I figured I'd let you sleep," I say. 

"On you?"

"Well, you were comfortable." 

"Sam, you don't have to do this." 

"I know, I want to. I love you," I say.

"Wait really?" 

"Yes, but I think we need to work on our friendship first," I say. 

"I think you're right," he says, settling into my arms again.
