Suddenly alone - a Sleepover

This add on takes place about 1 month before the story.

Marinette carefully secured the bow on the blue wrapping paper.

Smiling at the finished product and excited for the following night, she walked towards the front door, taking one final look into the mirror.

The air was still warm this late afternoon as she made her way to her best friends house.

Soon she knocked onto the familiar wooden door, which was immediately opened by an overly smiling Alya.

"Happy birthday." Marinette pulled the brunette into a tight hug.

"Thanks. Ready to party?" The brown eyed girl pulled out of the hug, a huge smile on both faces.

The beige carpet was soft on Marinettes legs as she sat down, still holding onto her present tight.

Not much later the next visitor arrived, a certain blond.

They three sat in a circle only to be interrupted by the sound of the doorbell seconds later.

"That should be the others, be right back." Alya jumped up and hurriedly went down the stairs.

The blond looked over to the blue eyed girl,  eyeing her carefully.

Marinette could feel his eyes wandering along her as she tried to avoid them.

He carefully took in every bit of her, her mesmerising baby blue eyes, the strands of hair falling out of her ponytail, softly touching the skin in the crook of her neck.

Adrien imagined running his fingers across her skin and tucking those strands away so he could have a better view of her sheer perfection.

His eyes still on her she couldn't help it anymore and gave into it, looking back into his emerald green eyes.

The sensation in her gut hit like a bomb as soon as she met his eyes as she could feel his thoughts like they burned through her skin.

She smiled nervously as she coughed loudly to cover up her raidly rising heartbeat.

He shifted his gaze.

"So how are you doing?" Adrien scooched over to her.

"I'm great, you?" Marinette was trying to limit their current conversation to small talk but he certainly wasn't.

"Just great." he smirked leaning in closer, leaving a silence between them afterwards.

"What do you think we'll be doing tonight?" She asked another question to fill the nervous silence between them.

"Nino was saying something about a board game he and Alya had prepared, better be excited for that." A teasing tone in his voice as he stared at her lips.

Seconds later the door sprung open, Alya and Nino entered alongside Mylenne, Rose, Juleka, Alix, Ivan and Luka.

Nino entered last and when he was finally entirely visible it was obvious what kind of game they had planned as he was carrying multiple bottles of Vodka.

They all sat in a circle as Alya layed a board game in front of them.

"First off-" She put a shot glass in front  of everyone "-everybody has to take a shot."

A few hesitated but they all ended up doing so either way.

"Marinette, you go first."  The brunette smiled mischievously at her.

The bluenette took the dice into her hand, a five was on top.

"3..4..5-" she bend over the board to read what the field said "everybody wearing socks take a shot."
