Love at first sight

Shreya and me were going inside the library to meet her so called bestie Abhir. Then suddenly Danish came with his friends and stared us with a grin. Shreya just holded my hands tightly. She was having a confused look on her face. Danish says" Shreya won't introduce your new friend to us. I mean.... we also want to become her close one" focusing on the close word more. I replied him straight " I think we already met with each other when you pranked me. Remember this morning?"
He now turned towards me showing his full wide smile " Ya, that was a trailer princess, you are lucky that you weren't my junior otherwise ragging a beauty like you would have been so fun. Right friends?" His whole group laughed on this rubbish thing and I don't know why and what was so funny in this? They were doing eve teasing very openly and nobody was even scolding them. I wanted to punch his face at that time but controlling myself, I said " see dude, it was not very nice to meet you as you spoiled that meet yourself in this morning but still I would really like to see your decency also and  if you have some other work than irritating others then pls would you don't mind to give us a side."
He replied with cheeky smile " Yes, why not."
With that note, Shreya walked away towards library but when I started to walk then suddenly my feet tossed like someone kept his foot in my way knowingly. I was just about to fall but someone caught my hands and helped me in fixing up. I just raised my head to see that person and there......... I just smiled automatically on seeing his face. He was a really cute looking guy giving me a heart warming smile. His eyes had a calmness and his face was having a childlike innocence. He turned towards Danish and lashed out " what's your problem Danish. Can't you leave them alone for a while?"

Now Danish came front and raised his voice too " What is your problem Abhir. Why you have to interfare in this matter and we were just having some fun and nothing else. Ohh ya, but you have to become a hero  unnecessarily and impress the girls always. How can I forget this. You must have saw this beauty and came here to make your chance. Am I right?"
Disgusted with his questions he replied " Shut up. Just shut your mouth. I don't do anything against you because you are my brother but it doesn't mean that I would not punish you. You are still smaller than me, if you forgot. Yuvraaj bro leaves you always that doesn't mean that you will cross your limits every time. Pls, if you seriously don't have any work then you can go home. Yuvraaj  told me that Dhairya needs you there. It's about that new factory's location that Dhanraj uncle had bought. You should go there instead of wasting your time here."
Danish scratched his head while saying "ok ok, put your lecture on a stop. It's too boring and from next time don't interfare in my matters. Got it?"
He raised his hands and said "as you say."
When Danish was stepping ahead then he kept his foot in Danish's way same like Danish did with me and ya, as I guessed in few secs I found Danish on ground  and we both laughed at his 'Humpty Dumpty' fall. It was so funny when he was falling and his expressions. OG, that scene was damn ridiculously funny. Even my stomach started to pain after laughing alot like an animal. Danish was fuming and gave a death glare to him but in return he gave a smile full of confidence. Danish went outside the college in a full rage, pushing who ever was coming in his way. I relaxed when he left and then I turned towards that guy. He too turned his face towards me and we two were smiling at each other. His smile was so cute. Just stop dips what are you thinking. You two just met right now.

He took out his hand towards me and we shaked our hands. I said" thankyou very much for saving me."
We were not leaving each other's hand for a while and I don't why when I saw his smile, I felt so relieved and happy. He answered" no need of thanks. I just saw Shreya and you were passing by library. I know that Shreya must be here for me."
His touch was so smooth and comfortable. If anyone would have ordered me to hug him, I would have done that too without any hesitation. I didn't wanted to leave his hand too quickly. He continued" btw I am Abhir Sehgal and you must be new here. Pls, don't be afraid of ragging. You can tell me if any senior forced you for ragging."
I smiled and replied " I am Deepakshi Khanna and I am not a junior. I am also in 2nd yr but yeah, you won't have seen me here cause I was taking online classes at home. It's my first day in the college."
His face was in full astonishment while saying" ohh, so you are Deepakshi. I always thought that who is this girl who was giving me competition in exams and I saw your project. It was really cool. But telling you seriously, I am not able to believe that you are the same Deepakshi about who I was curious all time."
I questioned " why is that so? wait a minute!! we're you assuming me to be nerd wearing some big spectacles and all." He shyly scratched his head and said " yes!!!! kind of and I am sorry for that."
OMG, he looked so cute when he was being shy. Just control on your thoughts Deepakshi.. control.

I replied to him" why couldn't there be any exception. See yourself first. You don't even look like a topper but here you are. Anybody could be in deception wheather you are a topper or not while seeing you."
He smiled" yes..! you are very much correct."
The best part of this whole conversation is that we haven't left each other's hand till now.
We were just smiling at each other with full warmth and not only our lips but our eyes were smiling too.

Suddenly Shreya shouted from behind " ohh, here you are Abhir. I was so worried about you and where were you gone Dips. I thought you were behind me but when I turned back, I saw that you weren't there." and we left each other's hand immediately like we both got an electric shock.

Abhir says in a teasing manner " oh no! now Deepakshi will be in great danger. I think she don't know that you have a habbit of eating everybody's brain. Haha"  
Shreya punched him in stomach " Hahaha...how funny na!!. Such a lame joke Abhir. Sheee not expected from you."
Abhir chirped "ohh really!! then what were you expecting of me Shreya?"
She turned towards me and after a sudden pause, she says" wait a min!! so you both already met each other ?"
I replied " Ya, he saved me otherwise I was going to fall so badly. You were saying right. You friend is very nice."

Here Abhir again straighten his collar in a playful manner and mocked Shreya " See and learn Shreya. Have you ever praised me like this. Don't you know how lucky you are that you got me."
I nodded merrily " You are indeed very lucky Shreya."  Shreya smiled at both of us and said" now shut up you both. It's over Abhir, now don't tease my anymore because  I have got a new bestie and I will leave you alone Abhir. I won't eat your brain then and you can use it fully in exams also. Now come let's go to the auditorium, there is some activity going on for college fest and I don't wanna miss that at any cost. Come come come let's go there. Mrs Walia ordered me to bring you  there Abhir. Now come without any argument."
She holded our hands and dragged us with her forcefully. I laughed at her " OMG Shreya!!!  you are so impulsive."

To this Abhir smiled at me and said " You have seen nothing of her. It's just the starting and I bet you will enjoy my company more than her after spending some time with her."  I gave him my sweetest smile and said " I won't mind that too."  He looked down for some secs and I think he was blushing. His face was looking so pure and innocent and then he turned his head towards me and smiled.
Then we three went for the auditorium and God....we were looking so funny as Shreya was dragging both of us with full speed like she has to win a marathon while me and Abhir were laughing like hell and teasing her.
