Chapter 6: Memories Of Pain

Y/N POV:

It's been a few weeks since Weiss and Ruby made up and things have been pretty quiet and peaceful with a few exceptions.

Flashback~

Weiss: Why is there a fox in here?!

I was sitting on my futon to see Katsune sleeping on the ground below me in her fox form.

Y/N: (Katsune you forgot to stay hidden!)

Katsune: (Hwaaa~ What did you say master?)

She looks up to see Team RWBY staring down at her.

Katsune: (Oh crap...)

Y/N: I can explain! She's my uh...companion.

Y/N: She has a tendency to follow me wherever I go.

Y/N: (clasping her hands together) I'm really sorry if she scared you all.

Katsune stands up and bows to them with her nine tails fully out.

Ruby: A real nine tailed fox...

Weiss: So beautiful....

Blake: It sorta remains me of the mythological fox spirit Katsune....

Katsune & Y/N: (She almost figured it out!)

Yang: (putting hands behind her hand) I mean if she's your companion I guess it would be okay to have her.

Weiss: What do you think Ruby?

Ruby: Of course it's okay if she stays here!

Ruby: (to Y/N) She made it all the way here from your village just to be with you that's a really devoted friend you have there.

Katsune walks up to her as Ruby pets her head gently rubbing her ear.

Katsune: (So goood~)

Flashback End~

Other than that I've been able to get a little bit closer to the others instead of running off and avoiding them like I usually do.

Right now we're in combat class with the match between Jaune and Cardin reaching its climax.

Jaune leans on his sword for support as Cardin waits for him to attack with a confident grin.

Jaune gathers up his strength to charge forward and swing his blade at Cardin, only for him to jump out of the way. Jaune looks back, surprised, as Cardin swings his mace knocking Jaune away as he loses his shield.

Jaune now with only his sword goes to attacks as Cardin uses his mace to block the strike leaving them on a power struggle with Cardin slowly gaining more and more ground.

Cardin: This is the part where you lose.

Jaune: Over my dead-!
