3rd Person POV:

The scene starts in the room of Team JNPR with only Nora, Ren and Pyrrha inside with Jaune nowhere to be seen.

Nora: (jumping on her bed) How come Jaune gets home so late?

Ren: (loading up Stormflower) He's become rather scarce since he started fraternizing with Cardin.

Nora: That's weird... Doesn't he know we have a field trip tomorrow? We need our rest! (twirls in the air to land on her back)

Pyrrha: (angrily) I'm sure our leader knows exactly what he's doing.

Unbeknownst to the three of them Jaune heard everything behind the door as he closes it.

Y/N: You okay, Jaune?

He jumps back and turns to see Y/N and Katsune looking back at him with concerned looks.

Jaune: Oh! Yeah...

Jaune: What are you doing here?

Y/N: I just got back from a walk around campus with Katsune.

Jaune: Oh...

Y/N: Did you lock yourself out again?

Jaune: Oh, uh, nope! (raises his Scroll, attempting to laugh) Got it!

Y/N: So, how have you've been? I heard you've been with Cardin Winchester a lot lately.

Jaune: I, uh...(he tries to come up with someone but lowers his head in shame) I messed up. I did something I shouldn't have, and now Cardin has me on a leash, and Pyrrha won't even talk to me, and...

Jaune: (sighs) I'm starting to think coming to this school was a bad idea.

He presses his back on his team's door and slumps down in depression.

Jaune: I'm a failure.

Y/N: (sits down next to him) I don't think that's true.

Y/N: You're a leader now, so you can't afford to be a failure.

Jaune: But... what if I'm a failure at being a leader?

Y/N: Then work hard and use the support of your team to help yourself up.

Jaune: I can't! You've seen how I was back at Initiation the only noticable thing that happened is I became "The guy stuck on the tree while his team fights for him".

Y/N: (places a hand on his shoulder) Jaune...

Jaune: (So close!)

Y/N: Being a leader isn't about being the strongest or smartest one of the group...

Y/N: A leader to me is someone that can gain the support from others and provide the same support back.

Y/N: (sighs) Back at my village there was a team of warriors that became successful through each others support, the leader wasn't anywhere near the strongest or most skilled in the team but by using the support from his team he became strong and each of them moved on to living very successful lives.
