I have struggled

I have beared pain

I learned alot

I never understood the feeling of losing a loved one
Someone you never pictured yourself being without in life
Someone you never imagined wouldnt be present in you future
But the most heartbreaking is the reason you left
The Neglect I felt
Loneliness I endured
Without you
And over and over you brought pain
Came back in my life and then left again
Without you
I learned to never believe in promises
Without you
I forget what it felt like to be loved
Without you
I forget how you looked
Always remembering the good times as I reminisce
But heartbroken as I remember you left
I have nothing left but memories
Both good and bad
How you left us to suffer
While you ran off
How could you be so unconsiderate
Abandoning your children
Leaving them with false hope
Praying for when you would return
But without you
I have learnt to never rely on anyone
The impact you left so severe
The tears that were shed
The trust that was broken
But never again
