Nick was currently sat on the sofa in your living room, on the phone to Clay whilst asking for advice. "So, what do I do?" He bit his lip anxiously, not sure he was going to like the answer his friend would give him.

"You gotta man up and just tell them already! You'll regret it if you go home tomorrow without saying anything." The voice came through the phone, Nick sighed in both relief and dismay. He was grateful for the encouragement yet still had that pang in his chest that was telling him that you didn't feel the same way. He paused for a moment, choosing his next words carefully.

"But what if... What if I mess everything up? What if I make everything awkward and then when I fly home tomorrow they ghost me? What if they stop talking to me after this? Wha-"

"Sapnap, chill out. (Y/n) isn't like that, you know them better than anyone, would they really cut contact with someone because of their feelings?"

"I guess not, I just really don't want to mess this up." He sighed once more, running his hand through his dark brown hair and slouching back on the sofa. "How do I even say it? When's the right moment?"

"You'll know, as long as you actually tell her it'll be fine. I've gotta go, Georgie wants to record our next video now. Good luck!" Before Nick could get out another word the blond had already ended the call. He started going over several scenarios in his head, trying to pick out the right words, trying to imagine your reaction and figure out the best way to tell you that he liked you. He'd liked you for a long time.

Nick was so lost in thought that he hadn't taken notice when the shower stopped running, and a minute or two later you made your way downstairs.

Realising that Nick hadn't heard you come downstairs, you snuck up behind the sofa and suddenly wrapped your arms around him. "RARRRGH!"

Nick jumped a little in his seat. "Jesus Christ (Y/n)! You scared the shi- you scared me!" He corrected himself. He'd been trying to swear less in his personal life so it wouldn't accidentally slip out while he was recording.

"You almost said a bad word!" You teased him and giggled as you climbed over the back of the sofa to sit beside him. "So, what're you doing?" You noticed the television was off and he'd just been sat in silence, he wasn't holding his phone either which made you curious. He looked like he'd been deep in thought, almost anxious, his hands were still fidgeting.

"Just thinking." He couldn't tell you just yet, it wasn't the right moment. You raised your eyebrow at him, wanting to know more. "Just ideas for my next video, don't worry about it."

You'd believed him until he told you not to worry about it, why would you worry about a video? He was definitely hiding something. You decided not to press him on it. For now.

"So, how do you want to spend your last day here? We could go sightseeing or go to the cinema, or something else? I don't really want to spend our last day together lazying around, who knows when we'll see each other next?" You frowned slightly, Nick was your best friend of five years and up until a week ago you'd never met him in person. You could say you wanted him to be more than your best friend but you really didn't want to risk losing the friendship you'd built together. Your week had been a fun and memorable one, spent recording videos together and playing games, but you didn't want to see him go.

Nick thought for a moment, going through the options in his head. "How about the zoo?" He wasn't sure whether you'd agree or not but that could be romantic right? Even if it wasn't you'd both get to see animals so there was no downside.

Your eyes lit up, "That's such a good idea!" You hadn't been to the zoo in years and they'd added a few new exhibits since then that you'd been aching to see. Nick grinned when your face lit up, he loved that smile. "I'm going to go pack my bag!"

You finally arrived at the zoo after a car ride full of singing  and exclaiming whenever you spotted a field of horses. Overall it only took around an hour, whilst you were driving Nick bought the tickets on his phone so you wouldn't waste any time. You both made small talk as you got out of your car and made your way towards the main entrance. "So, which animal are you looking forward to seeing the most?" Nick asked you.

You thought for a moment, "hmm, maybe the bats? I think they're really cute!"

"Really? Bats?" Nick raised an eyebrow.
