Badboyhalo x Reader [Sleepy]

 You gripped the handles of your grocery bags and held them to your chest with your arms as you unlocked the door to your house. "Darryl?" You called out to your boyfriend as you saw a mop of dark brown hair poke out from the door to the kitchen. Once he saw you struggling with the bags he came right over to help, giving you a small kiss on the cheek as he took them from you. "Thank you," you smiled at him as you locked the door behind you and followed him into the kitchen.

 You both made small talk as you put the shopping away. "Did you manage to sleep at all last night? I noticed you were still awake when I left at six this morning for work." You looked to your boyfriend with concern, he had a habit of messing up his sleep schedule which although led to him being all adorable and sleepy you would much rather he got an appropriate amount of sleep.

 Darryl shook his head and giggled slightly, "How would I be able to sleep without you here?" He wrapped his arms around your shoulders and buried his face in your neck, swaying slightly.
 "Darryl... you really need to start sleeping earlier, it's not good for you."

 "I know, I know..." He mumbled, he stayed pressed into your neck for another minute before pulling away.

 "Promise me you'll go to bed early today?"

 "I can't, I have a stream to do in an hour." Darryl yawned, "Did you get any energy drinks while you were out? I could probably use one."

 Although you didn't want him to put more stress on his body by forcing himself to stay awake, you knew how important his streams and fan-base were to him. After seeing him awake this morning you had a suspicion he'd be needing a pick-me-up. "Here," You handed him one of the bags that still had yet to be unpacked that held his energy drinks.

He grinned "Aww, I love you! Thank you." He took one of the energy drinks out of the bag and practically downed it.

 After you finished putting everything away the two of you turned on the television and snuggled on the sofa to pass the time until Darryl's stream. You could tell that his energy drink was starting to kick in as he started to get giddy and was laughing a lot more at the television. "Are you sure you still want to stream tonight? You know your fans would understand if you took a break."

 "I couldn't do that! What if they thought I died?"

 You shook your head at his lack of thought process. "You know you could always tell them on Twitter right?"

 Darryl paused for a moment looking very serious before grinning, "Nope, I'm going to stream for all my little muffins."

 You kissed him on the cheek, "Alright, just don't overwork yourself. You should get going to set up."

 Darryl gasped as he had a light bulb moment, "Do you want to join me? You haven't joined me on a stream in forever. My fans were all talking about how much they missed you last time I streamed. Pleeeaaaaase?" He fluttered his pretty eyelashes at you and gave you the puppy eyes, "I haven't seen you all day..."

 Although you were tired from being out all day, playing Minecraft sounded like it would be pretty relaxing right now so you accepted your boyfriend's offer. He looked incredibly excited, "Let's go set up!" His hand took a firm grip on yours as he led you to your shared office. 

 You sat down at your desk, you'd occasionally stream with Darryl and his friends but that was only on rare occasions such as this. You booted up the computer and put your headphones on, you glanced at Darryl and he was doing just the same. Once everything was set up and Darryl had started his stream, you entered his discord call, despite being in the same room together it was easier to hear each other through the computer when you had your headphones on.

 "I'm not taking any funny business today, I want a nice, clean, survival game." You told your partner as your character loaded in front of his. You glanced at his chat, it seems he wasn't lying when he said people missed the two of you playing together.

 "No promises," He giggled.

"(Y/N)! HELP! THERE'S SO MANY MOBS!"

 You were currently in the small house you'd built, organising your chests, far away from your boyfriend. You stifled a laugh at his misfortune, "I told you not to mine at night..." You grabbed a spare sword from one of the chests and some extra food and headed out to try and find Darryl.

"What are your co-ordinates?"

 "I'M BEING CHASED!"

 "I know that but I can't help if I don't know where you are."

"(Y/NNNN)!" You glanced at chat and they were all spamming that Bad had gone left of the house when looking for a cave to explore. You decided to trust them and started your search.

 "Is that you?" You squinted, seeing a figure in the distance, as you got closer you realised it was in fact Darryl. "Get over here I brought you some food." You dropped some of the bread you made onto the ground for him.

 "(Y/nnnnnn)," He dragged out your name.

 "Yeah?"

 "(Y/NNNNNNNN)," He dragged it out once again, "I can't believe you came looking for me, you're too cute."

 "I told you I was coming to look for you, now hurry up and get back to the house so we can sleep." 

 "Aww okay~" On the way back Darryl had started to hum a little song, making it up as he went along, gradually getting louder. You smiled to yourself and looked across the room at him, you could see him bopping his head along a little and you found it adorable.

 Once you returned to the house you made two beds, you placed them both down with a space between them. You right clicked on one of the beds to sleep and saw Darryl on the corner of your screen break his bed and place it back down right next to yours. "Hey that space was for Jesus!"

 "Wait, Jesus is here?"

 After another hour of streaming you could tell that the energy drink was starting to wear off and the lack of sleep was catching up to Darryl, his replies were slower and a lot more loopy.

 "Can you pass me the iron please, Bad?" You were always careful to use his in-game name while streaming. 

"Here," You heard him yawn as he threw some gold ingots at your character before running back outside.

 "This isn't... Bad you gave me the gold."

 "Yeah, gold" He stated matter of factly.

 "I asked for the iron."

 "What? No, gold." He looked confused as to why you were mentioning iron.

 "Bad, I'm trying to make buckets."

 Darryl giggled, "You can't make buckets with gold you muffinhead." You shook your head and sighed, deciding you'd just make the buckets next time.

 "(Y/nnnnnn)," His character ran back into the house and jumped up and down in front of your own.

 "Yeah, Bad?"

 "Here." He crouched and threw something at you, playfully laughing again. It was a yellow flower.

 Even though no one could see it, you blushed and thanked him, taking another look at him across the room as he was smiling. You placed the flower in a pot on top of the crafting table and went to check your furnaces. Darryl was unusually quiet, you saw his character standing still in the middle of the house. "Bad?" You heard a soft snore in response.

 Looking over at his desk you could see that his head was laid perfectly flat on top of it. You smiled, he looked so peaceful. You took a look at chat and saw people spamming "sleepyboyhalo" and joking about it being unprofessional to snore on stream.

 "Hey chat if it's alright with you, you mind if I end the stream early? One of the hosts just uh, passed out." Seeing the majority of chat telling you to end the stream there you said your goodbyes and walked over to Darryl's desk, closing the stream on his computer and turning it off.

 You took this opportunity to admire your boyfriend, it was rare that you got to see him in a 'calm' state as he was usually very energetic. You carefully lifted the headphones from his head, not wanting to disturb him too much, and ran your fingers through his hair softly. He mumbled a little but nothing comprehensible.

"Hey Dar'?" You heard a soft 'mhmm' in response but you were certain he wasn't listening.

 "Come on," You lifted his arms a little to get him to stand up.

 "Where... Where are we going?" He yawned, confused.

 "Bed, you need to sleep." You sat him down on the bed and pulled the quilt back so you could tuck him under.

 "Hmm? Wait what about the stream? Where did they go?"

 "The stream ended, don't worry about it. You can go back to sleep now." You had your hand on the side of his face, stroking his cheek with your thumb.

 "What? No, I can't sleep I was- uh." He paused for a moment. "Oh, I  was going to sleep."

 You chuckled as you climbed into your side of the bed. "Come here," you wrapped your arms around him and cuddled as he went silent again.

 You heard a soft snore and then a mumbled "I love you."

 "I love you too." You kissed his forehead.
