I'm in my room. Waiting for everyone to sleep. I looked at my reflection at the mirror, behind me. I saw myself wearing a tube and a denim jacket. Partnered with a mini skirt. And my face with a Dark color of lipstick and eye shadow. I smiled seductively. I look so perfectly gorgeous. I grab my pouch and slowly opened my room's door.

As I open my door, I saw mom and dad. Mom's so mad. That I can see her eyes, burning with anger. Her brows even furrowed.

What the?! Anong oras na, ha? Yet, they're still awake.

Mom pursed her lips. "Where do you think, you're going?"

Ugh! I'm busted again!

"M-mom!" I smiled tsaka bumaling kay dad. "Dad!"

"Where will you go?" Mom asked again. She's now fumming in anger.

"Obviously, I'm going out with my friends." I secretly rolled my eyes.

"Really?" She said in a sarcastic tone. "Alas dose na ng gabi?! Lalabas ka nanaman!" She shouted. Grabe naman! Nakakarindi na talaga.

They're always gone at our house because of our business. Ni hindi ko nga feel na may pamilya pa pala ako! Tapos pag babawalan nila akong lumabas with my friends?! Ito na nga lang ang way ko para sumaya tapos ipag kakait pa nila?!

Yes, I'm living a luxury life, and I'm a little bit happy with it. Because I can get what I want. But money can't also buy one's happiness!

Yes, money can make us happy, but it will only be temporary!

"Honey, calm down." Pagpapakalma naman ni dad kay mom.

"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN, EDUARDO?!" Mom shouted. "YUNG ANAK MO NAG REREBELDE! LAGI MO NALANG KASI KINUKUNSINTI!"

Argh! Mom's so loud! Lagi nalang s'yang talak ng talak. I just want to enjoy my life, kahit ito manlang, pagbigyan nila 'ko. Because my party life will end once I'll graduate. Because of our fucking business!

Urgh! They will pass all the responsibilities and the business to me. And I fucking hate it!

Nilagpasan ko nalang sila. Patuloy sila sa pagbabangayan. Daddy always defend me from mom. Magkasundo kasi kami! That's why I love him so much!

"VERENA ARIA CULLEN!" I stopped and face them. "Come back here!"

"Mommy, I said lalabas ako!" Irita kong sabi.

Ugh! Why are they so strict on me?! Eh halos lahat nalang ng desisyon ko sa buhay galing sa kanila. Can't I even deside on my own?! Can't I be happy? Can't I live the life I want? Yes I have the money, they're giving me too much. They're spoiling me with everything I need, pati mga hindi ko kailangan at hindi ko hinihingi binibigay nila sa 'kin.

I'm thankful for my family, that they can provide everything for me. But how I wish, that they can also give the happiness and freedom that I want!

"You can't go out!" Galit n'yang sabi.

"Why not? You can't stop me." Matigas kong sabi!

"Why are you so stubborn?! Why do you need to rebel against us?!"

Ha?! Rebel!

I sarcastically laughed. "Ha! Rebelde na pala tingin n'yo sa'kin! All my life, mom! All my life, I only want your attention! Your love! But you can't give me! And now, I only want to be happy and this is my temporary happiness pero masyado kayong mahigpit sakin! Ito na nga lang ang nagpapasaya sa 'kin hindi n'yo pa mabigay. I also give up my own

"I'm really serious about what we talked about earlier, eduardo!" Mommy said while looking intently at dad.

Ano nanaman ba 'tong pakulo ni mommy? What ever it is, I don't really care.

"No, honey please. Aria just needs more time... to change."

To change? Huh! I will never change! I will always be a rebel to your eyes!

"Time?! What time? Matanda na s'ya! She should know what to do!" Matigas na ani ni mommy. "So, No! My decision is final!" Dad just shot his mouth because he can't win against mom.

"'Yun naman pala mommy eh! Kakasabi mo lang, matanda na'ko and I should know what to do! alam ko naman ang ginagawa ko ah! I'm not doing such illegal things!" Naiinis kong sabi.

"You can't go out Ari! Babae ka pa naman! It's not safe! If you wanna go out, go out with your friends later!"

Naiinis na'ko!

"Why are you so strict on me! Ginagawa mo'kong bata, mommy! Kulang nalang Ihatid sundo mo'ko sa school. I'm already eighteen years old for fuck sake! Legal age na'ko! I can go to a parties already!"

Natameme naman si mommy.

I know, I'm so disrespectful. Below the belt na'ko, but I don't fucking care! I only want her to realize things.

I was about to walk out when mom speak. "If you go out and meet your friends today, I swear Aria, I'll send you to manang Selma's province."

I let out a heavy sigh.

Tsk. As if I care. I know mommy, she can't do that. Nasasabi n'ya lang 'yan kasi galit s'ya! Tuloy tuloy akong lumabas ng aming bahay. I get my car keys on my pouch and started my car.
