Marriage 

"You're unfair, I have questions too." 

Kanina pa siya tanong ng tanong at sinagot ko iyon lahat. Patas lang na sagutin niya rin ang akin. 

"Did I let you to ask questions?"

He picked up the plates then he put it on the sink. He also washed it so I just stayed there near him. 

"I have so many questions. I need answers!" 

He look back at me and just stared for a second then he continue washing the dishes again. He is so annoying. 

"Please? Just one question a day." tawad ko pa. Baka sakaling bumenta. 

He eyebrow shot up. "One question a day?" natatawa niyang sabi.

"Yes! So please?" 

He took a deep breath and turn, so he can face me. 

"Fine, what is it?" I smiled widely from that. 

"Why did you brought me here?" I asked. 

Kunot-noo na siya ngayon. "What do you mean?" 

I sighed. "Owen said you found me in siargao. I mean, you can just leave me there…or in a hospital. Why brought me here?" 

He just stared at me for a while. I don't know if he still don't understand what I just said? or he just don't know what to say? 

"Because I don't trust people there. My ship is the best place." he finally said. 

That's all? I'm not satisfied. I feel like there's something else! Oh hinihiling ko lang na meron pa siyang ibang dahilan. 

"And?" I asked. Hoping he has another reason. 

His brow shot up. "what and?" 

I shrugged nonchalantly. "anything else? Other reason?" 

He signed, looking impatient. "Seriously, What's your point?" 

"That, maybe, you knew who I was?" Biglang bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko. Siguro dahil sa maaaring sagot niya. 

Inaasahan kong mabibigla siya o kaya naman ay matitigilan sa tanong ko. But, no. He just look so calm and collected. Instead, he just blew a loud breath, looking so done. 

"Paano naman mangyayari ang sinasabi mo?" he asked. 

I felt a bit of disappointment. But I stil didn't back out. 

"The day I woke up here. You said to me to stop pretending! And you asked If I'm surprised to see you again!" 

Natigilan siya roon. Ano! Hindi pwedeng sabihin mo lang basta ang mga ganoong bagay sa taong kakakita mo lang! Unless he's aware who I am. 

He gulped and looked away from me." T-That, I'm sorry about that. N-Napag-kamalan lang k-kita." He said softly. 

He stammered. Medyo tumaas ang suspetya ko dahil doon. 

"Who?" 

"You don't have to know." 

Then, he walk away. I still have so many questions but I guess I'll just try questioning him some other time. 

Buong umuga ay nag ikot ikot lamang ako sa mga shop na nasa middle deck. Halos lahat yata ng ka kailanganin mo ay nandirito na. Suot ang isang maxi yellow dress at strap sandals ay masaya akong nag lilibot roon.
