I was really nervous about my date with Tod,this was also going to be the first time I've ever lied to my parents.i exhaled,"you can do this,remember what Julie taught you."I thought as I left my room."Bye mom,bye dad,I'm going to go to the diner with Julie."I said,"ok,have fun kiddo!"my dad said as I left the house.i silently cheered in my head as I left the house,I felt someone tap my shoulder.i immediately turned around,only to find out it was Tod."Tod you scared me!"I scolded him,"I'm sorry Chrissy."he apologized.he gently hugged me,"Does this make you feel better?"he asked."Y-Yeah,it does."i said,hugging him back.
"Ready to go?"he asked,I nodded.my face was probably so red right now,I mean Tod is holding my hand!!i cleared my throat,"so um,where are we going?"I asked him.he gently smiled,"holy fucking shit that smile is gonna kill me."I thought."that,my love,is a surprise."he said,i gulped.if there's one thing I don't like:it's surprises.but I'll have to suck it up,for Tod.he suddenly covered my eyes with his hands,"almost there."he said.i could hear the ocean waves,he slowly uncovered my eyes.i gasped,he set up a picnic by the ocean."Tod,this is so beautiful!"i said,he smiled."I knew you'd like it."he said,he held my hand and led me to the picnic he made.
