One paw at a time, or else

The next morning the mouse woke up quite slowly and dopily, she yawned and stretched her small nimble paws outward as her eyes slowly opened wide showing off her beautiful orbs. After the mouse had completely woken up she pranced around gracefully plotting her small mitts on the earths surface. After one long morning of traveling the female rodent came to a sudden stop as a large sleek slithery animal stood about tweet centimetres above Her, the mouse quivered with fear as she did not move. Moments later the snake struck either side of her missing her by millimetres "gee, oh my what have I got myself into" the rodent said to herself as she bolted in the other direction, the snake not noticing her she ran in a small cave just big enough for a small rabbit or rat. The mouse fell asleep that night, as the moon rose and stars twinkled she dreamed of finding what a "name" was. The rebounding mornings got hotter everyday, but today was different, the mouse had a huge day planned she wanted to find another elder mouse and ask a couple of questions, so off she went. As the smouldering heat got worse the female padded around in the shade constantly stopping to gain energy and rehydrate, the mouses audits became heavy along with her sleek bodice. Finally after hours of endless searching she found a sign saying "watch your step"
,the mouse looked at the board in confusion and then peering up looking at the large bramble clippings she had to pass "holy cheese" she grunted as she watched her paws one by one crossing the pricks. The adolescent mouse dipped her cranium as she lowered her body springing up and over a small bush, the mouse smiled and felt a sign of achievement.
