Greetings!
Firstly, thank you for clicking onto this story! This is a little fic that I wrote in my spare time (though in quarantine, all of my time seems to be spare). Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr are, quite possibly, my favourite ship of all time. 'Jane Eyre' by Charlotte Brontë is also, quite possibly, my favourite story of all time. It's my love for both that spawned this fic.
I am currently re-reading the novel and am enjoying it immensely, and have watched almost all of the movie/TV adaptations (2006 mainly, because that is my most treasured version!), but I have also been reading a lot of Cherik fanfiction which has inspired me to try my hand at it.
I truly had a great time writing this, so I hope that you enjoy reading it!
