He had wanted to be a hero so bad but even his own hero told him "With no quirk, you can not possibly hope to be a hero" and then just walked away
He couldn't cry, or smile or scream, he just sat there in the silence and the dark, thinking. Thinking "I'll show him I can be useful...I'll prove him wrong" He got up and tore down everything that symbolized him. He screamed and tore down the posters, the stands, the bed sheets, everything that had that traitor, that horrible fucker's face and colors.
Inko ran up the stairs and burst into the door "Izuku?!" she said worriedly, shocked at the state of his room "Izuku...baby, what happened?"
he saw his mom and hugged her tight "I love you" he said "I'll keep you safe so don't worry about me, ok?" he smiled softly.
Inko frowned, this wasn't her son, there was no light in his eyes, no hope in his smile. her look of worry turned into fear "Izuku...baby, I dont know what happened, but this isnt like you...please just think about this..." she couldn't bear to watch her son leave like his father did. To become what his father did.
"I finally got to meet him mom..." Izuku said softly "and do you know what the number one hero, who I looked up to and loved said to me? He said I can't be a hero, because I'm quirkless" he said.
Inko bit her lip, she finally understood. "Izuku...don't listen to him ok? There are so many ways you can help people, you don't have to be a pro hero-"
"You're right..." he smiled softly and hugged his mom "I'll become the next best thing" the small boy said to her. He held onto her, taking in the last of her that he could. He knew that once he did this, once he joined them...
