The depth of it once terrified her,
She thought she'd never climb outOf that trench she'd fallen into,
Where her terrors seemed so loudThey had echoed around her,
Chanting how weak she'd beenNow she stands above them,
With freedom she'd never before seenShe was a slave to her fears,
They had swallowed her hope tooOf ever making it out of that trench,
Without loosing every inch of her throughBut now that she looks below into it,
Finally having won her warOne she'd faught with herself,
To climb up, rise above and heal from the terrors she once bore.
