The lights burn down
Now there's darkness around

My fears surround,
To my tears I'm bound

My dreams, devoured
And my doubts so loud

My spirit drowned,
Never was it found,

I struggle to see,
The light in me,

I struggle to breathe,
There's fright in me,

What do I do,
I ask my heart,

'Believe in you,'
Whispers the dark.

'Who may you be?'
I question back,

'Im the light you can't see,'
'The hope you lack,'

My eyes go round,
Who could that be?

The harder I look,
I finally see,

This light I had heard,
Had all along been within me.
