Another school, another year, another girl to fall hopelessly in love with, just for me to leave in the end. Well, not this year. I'm going to stay away from all girls, stick with some friends (guys) and focus on school.
I was walking into the doorway when I remembered the girl I had met earlier and remembered her cute little smile, and her hair and, that body! I walked straight into a guy who was walking down the hall. "Yo, watch it dude!" "Oh, sorry!" I apologized. She was already getting inside my head! I had to focus.
I went to the principal to get my class schedule and for some reason he decided he had to walk me to class. "I'll introduce you." He said. He knocked. No answer. He knocked again. "I'm coming!" I heard a voice. Mr. Baker (the principal) got tired of waiting so he walked in. He introduced me and told me to come in, so I did.
"Introduce yourself please." The teacher, Mrs. Beccum told me. "Oh, alright. Well, my name is Zachary but I go by Zach, if we are friends. If not please call me Zachary. I'm from a small town in Texas. And in the past I've been know as a bad boy, but I'm starting over. So yeah, that's the story of my life." He smirked and the class laughed. "Well, tell us one interesting thing about you." "Oh, okay. Well, I really like..." Then I seen her. She sat in the back corner. Empty desk beside her. "I play the guitar." "That's nice, now sit down." I quickly shuffled over to the desk beside Olivia. "Hey, anyone sit here?" I asked shyly. I should be avoiding her but at the least I want to be friends. She looked up from her drawing. Apparently she was sketching instead of taking notes. I couldn't catch a glimpse of it sadly. "Oh, hey it's you!" She smiled. I swayed back and forth waiting for an answer. "Oh, uh no. Go ahead." "Thanks." I nodded.

The bell ran and I walked to my locker and turned the combination. I heard snickering from behind me. I whirled around to find 3 girls laughing. The tall blonde walked up to me. "Your pretty cute huh?" She smiled. "Hi, I'm Cassandra, and your the hot new kid... Zach, right?" "Yeah, and what's it to you." I grabbed the books out of my locker. "Well your new here, and I want to make you feel welcome." She reached out to touch my shoulder but I jerked away. She seem like one of those popular girls from books or movies, and I didn't like it. She was girly and she had paint all over here face. I wasn't into those girls. I liked girls who rolled in the dirt, laughed whenever, who didn't care what she looked like, and who knew what it was like to have fun. "Thanks, but no thanks." I smirked. And walked away.
