I carefully drug the brush across my nails. The dark purple suited my skin tone perfectly.
"Mom?" I yelled to mother in the kitchen.
"Yes sweetie? What is it?" She asked.
"How's Zach? He's been in his room since 9:00. I'm worried." I replied sympathetically.
"He's fine dear. He really liked that girl... What's her name? Olivia. He would walk around here, so happy. Not a care in the world after he met her. He used to be so sad after you left. You know, you should visit your sister in the hospital. She misses you, ya know."
"Yah, sure mom. But he wasn't sad about me. He hates me. He's only jealous you know, I'm off partying in college, he's moving around with you asses, switching from high school to high school. Never making any real friends." I spat.
Suddenly I was angry. I stood up, and marched over to her. "You move to much! He... He... He needs a family, but your never here! Your off looking for 5,000 new jobs in 10,000,000 different locations."
"You, young lady are not one to talk." My mother glared at me.
"I have had enough," my mother said calmly, "please just leave the parenting to me, and your father." She sighed and went upstairs. I heard a door shut and then nothing.
"Well then." I smoothed down my dress, and walked back to the couch and sat down.Sorry for the short chapter next one will be longer.
