I had made it through the day, finally. Those popular girls really messed with my head. However, Zach helped me out. I really like this guy, but there is something odd about him, I just don't know what.
"Meow." "Shush! Your gonna get us caught." I whispered to Curiosity as I walked down the hall.
I was walking down Kent Road, singing I song I had heard, when I heard my name. "Olivia!" Who could it be. I heard footsteps coming towards me. "Olivia!" I still didn't know. I turned around. "Liv!" "Hey Zach!" I smiled! "Sup." he laughed. "Why do you walk so fast? Are you in a rush to get home? Your dad and mom have a surprise for you?" "My mom left when I was 3 cause my dads an alcoholic and he only cares about himself. This morning he was passed out on the floor. I used to worry, but I don't anymore." I looked up at him. He was tall and built like a rock. "Come on I don't walk that fast." I laughed and he let out a small and strained laugh. "How about you?" I started to walk down the road and he followed. "I have a brother and two twin sisters. My mom and dad are still together but fight 24/7 and it's been like that as long as I remember. My brothers pretty cool. His name is Ryan, and he is 2 years older than me. Now, my sisters are very complex. One of them is okay, the other, I can not stand! Actually, Marcy, the one I like, she's got cancer! Yeah. I guess I missed that part of the family. Anyway, my sisters are 3 years younger than me." He laughed. "What's so funny?" I asked confused. "Nothing, do you have any siblings?" "Actually, I have a sister. But we don't talk." I frowned. "Why?" I shook my head, waving off the question. "Come on, I already called Cassandra a b*tch. You can tell me whatever the hell you want, I'll listen." I wouldn't look at him, because if I did I would give in. I would lose control and tell him everything. Nothing mattered, when I looked into his brown eyes, I was lost. I don't know why, it just happened. Suddenly Zach stopped. He pulled me so I would be looking at him. He went to swoop my hair that was covering my scar behind my ear. "Please don't." I choked. I finally looked up at him. "Why?" He looked down at me confused. "Because." I said quietly. "We are friends, you have to let me know stuff." He gave me a warm smile that made my heart melt. I relaxed my body as he went to move the hair. "That's why." I sighed as he gazed at my scar. "That's why..." "That's why I don't talk to my sister." I looked down at my feet.
