When The Night Turns Red [Completed]

Chapter 1 - Beginning

It was like any other night. He was looking at him from afar.

"We need to go. Your brother is waiting for us." a man said from behind him.

"Just a few more minutes. I just need to see him." the other guy said.

"If I get in trouble for this, I won't accompany you anymore. You know your brother Singto." the man exclaimed.

"Who will look after him tonight?" Singto asked.

"I ordered Tay and New to look out for him tonight." the guy behind him said.

Singto look at the guy "Let's go then, I really hate this kind of meetings" he said.

The two walk towards the darkness and vanish.

"Hyukjae, did you feel that?" the younger said as he look at his friend.

"Feel what? I didn't feel anything."  Hyukjae said.

"that someone is looking at us ever since we arrive at this restaurant." the younger mentioned.

Hyukjae look around but no one is looking at them.

"Your being paranoid again Krist. Everytime we are here you always say that." Hyukjae said.

Krist just look at his friend knowing he won't believe him.  He look around but sees no one.

Singto entered the room and everyone look at him.

"Why are you late?" Singto look at his brother.

"Sorry brother.  I forgot about the meeting." Singto bowed down and sat beside his friend, Joss.

"As I was saying, refrain from turning humans into newborns. I am receiving reports of newborns who are attacking helpless humans. We need to control this. We have been peacefully living with the human race for a long time and this could expose us." the elder mentioned.

"What about our food? If we don't feed on human we will starve!!" one vampire exclaimed.

"I already made arrangements for our food. We will only feed from criminals courtesy of Joss here." the elder mentioned as the younger vampire rise and bowed.

"This is absurd! We won't survive feeding off from them!  There are more tasty humans out there!" the vampire exclaimed again.

The elder rose from his seat and in an instant, was already infront of the vampire.

"Are you disobeying my orders!" The elder exclaimed, hands already grasping the neck of the vampire.

"Your.. a pathetic... elder... He..was..right. you are weak... " the vampire said in between his breath.

that was the last thing the vampire said as he burst into ashes.

The elder look at his brother. Death is emiting through his whole body.

"Anyone who will disrespect my brother as our elder will die in my hands." Singto exclaimed as gasp can be heard in the entire room.

"This meeting is over. All of you go back to your chambers" the elder mentioned as everyone leave the room.

"You didn't have to do that Singto." the elder was now with his brother inside his chamber.

"That is not the first time I heard him say that Donghae." Singto look at his brother.

"What do you mean?" Donghae asked.

"He is spreading words about how weak you are as an elder. He is also convincing everyone to change sides with those rascals." Singto mentioned as he walk closer to his brother.

"Not everyone knows what happened to us that is why I won't let anyone speak that way to you." Singto said.

"Thank you.  I want to rest now. I still have a company to run tomorrow." Donghae said as he motion his brother to leave.

"I will take my leave then. Rest well brother" Singto said as he walk out of the room.

"Krist we are going to be late for work you lazy cat! Hurry up!" Hyukjae shouted as Krist was rushing towards his friend.

"Is it my fault we stayed up all night playing online?" Krist said as he catches his breath.

"No but you are always like this. We have to give a good impression on our first day at work" Hyukjae said as they enter Hyukjae's car.

"I'm still wondering how we got the job. The manager looks scary when she interviewed us." Krist said as he flop down on his seat beside Hyukjae.

"As long as we got the job I don't care how she looks. Remember we need money to pay our rent and bills" Hyukjae stated as he started his car.

"Still, the way she looks at us almost gave me a heart attack! " Krist exclaimed

"and again,  stop being paranoid.  That's how managers are." Hyukjae said as he drive towards their work.
