Chapter 6 - Falling

Donghae's PoV

This morning is a mess.. Luckily those stupid humans agree with the project thanks to this beauty beside me.

I am enjoying the blood that was served by Wave to me and Singto as it fills me up.

The blood here is no ordinary blood since this was from the blood bank somewhere in Europe where royalties donate their blood in exchange for their wealth.

I can say I hold the entire Europe at my fingertips.

Well back to where I am. Looking at my brother who is still lusting over his assistant, I think I need to push him a bit more..

"Look who we have here? The two greatest elder having a meal with this humans." I look in an instant at who spoke out of nowhere.

"Where are your manners Siwon? Talking to us as If you are at our level. Is that how you are taught as a low class death dealer." I said as I sent a message to Singto who immediately look at him and his companion.

"Excuse me, even if we came from a low class family, you have no rights to be rude. You need to show some manners." I look at Hyukjae and back at Siwon whose anger is already showing.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY HUMAN?" Siwon is definitely angry.

The air tensed up as Donghae emits a deadly aura only vampires can feel.

The vampires inside the restaurant suddenly stood up and excuse themselves to go out for the meantime.

"I dare you to make a move Siwon."Donghae said as Hyukjae look at him who is still oblivious on what is happening.

"Donghae... Calm down please.. You are hurting me..." Hyukjae said as pain is visible in his eyes. Donghae look at where his hands are, It is squeezing Hyukjae's thighs.

"What a sweetheart you got here Donghae." Siwon mentioned as another vampire approach us.

Singto's PoV

I look at who is approaching and saw another elder..

"Well.. It's nice seeing you two here and my.. What a cute human you got here.. What is your name?"

"that is none of your business Bright.." I cut before Krist could even answer him.

I can feel Krist is frightened by the sudden approach.. His hands are squeezing my thighs.

"Overprotective are we Singto? I just want to know his name that's all. You are still a hot-headed elder Singto." he said as his eyes went back to Krist.

"Sorry but my friend here is not allowed to talk to rude people." Hyukjae butt in as I can sense Donghae's death aura is increasing.

I protected myself and the two of them, covering them with my own aura.

"What a feisty human you got here Donghae, I like him. " Siwon said as I can see forks are starting to float little by little.

"Gentleman please.. Not in my restaurant, my customers are getting scared of this ruckus." I look at Wave and thank him for going between the fight.

"I'm sorry about our little scene Wave, we will leave now. We will see you two again." Bright said as he pointed at Hyukjae and Krist. They walk away as Donghae's aura is decreasing.

"I'm sorry as well Wave. Thank you again for the lunch" Donghae said as Wave bowed down and left.

I let down the aura I covered the two as they look at us.

"Who is that?" Hyukjae ask

"Yeah. They are scary." Krist added.

"The other one was one of our competitor and the other one is his step-brother." Donghae answered.

"Why did they call you elders?" It's now Krist's turn to ask.

"Well since we are from the main family, we act as the leader or what we call elder. It's an old term used by generation of royalties." I answered as Krist look at me.

"You two really are rich as hell." he said as Donghae laugh.

"Well let's finish up cause I still have other meetings to attend to." Donghae said as I took a drink of the blood provided by Wave.

I will need this for this afternoon since I know I will be drained from looking at this beautiful human beside me.

Hyukjae's PoV

The whole afternoon went by smoothly as all investors agree with the terms and the products we are showcasing. Somehow I felt too tired the whole day. We are back at the office as I sat at my table which is just a few feet away from Donghae's.

I walk towards him and sat infront of his table.

I haven't ask much about those two guys from lunch but it seems that they are angry at Donghae and his brother.

I look at Donghae infront of me who is still busy finishing up some papers to sign.

"Donghae.. I want to ask something, this is about what happened earlier" I said as he is still busy signing the papers.

"You want to know why they are angry at us?" he ask

'Wow, this guy can read my mind'I thought.

"Well, their family was always at the top before, when I became the Elder of our family everything changed. We started to grow our business and stuff and they almost fall down to the brink of bankruptcy" he said.

"Further to that, their younger sister use to have a crush on me but was met by an accident." he added.

"I think that added to their anger at us specially at me."

He look at me as he smile, his smile somehow is soothing and refreshing.

"Don't think too much. I will drive you home. I want you to be safe all the time" he said and somehow that made my heart flutters.

I can't explain what I am feeling right now but somehow this is too good that I don't want this to stop.

Krist's PoV

I slept the entire trip going to the location where Singto mentioned we will be doing something.

I just woke up and look outside.

We are currently at a hospital on the border.

It is a small hospital compared to the ones in the city.

"Krist, your work for me is to ask the patients what they need and list it down." Singto said as he look at me.

"Most of the patients here are those who are abandoned by the government." he added.

Somehow I felt this annoying guy has a good heart after all.

"You will need this as some of them are really sick and I don't want you to be sick as well cutie"

"Can you stop calling me that?" I retorted as as I took the facemask he gave me.

"Call you what? Cutie?" He ask.

"Yes.. It's a bit annoying and I am not cute" I answered.

"What do you want me to call you then?" he asked again

"Anything will do except Cutie." I said as we step out of his vehicle.

"Okay Darling. Let's go inside now" he said as he run inside.

I widen my eyes.

"SINGTO!"
