I have lived with my dad in San Francisco since he moved there for work, but recently he was at work more and more, being an FBI agent is a demanding job and he was constantly overloaded with new cases. We decided that I should move back in with my mum and brother in Beacon Hills. Scott and I talked about once a week on the phone but it wasn't the same as actually being together. When he first told me that he was a werewolf I honestly didn't know how to react, he was still struggling to accept it himself, but once he did I became more comfortable with it.

I have been ringing Scott for the past 5 minutes, but he hasn't picked up. Dad couldn't drive me back to Beacon Hills as he had work so I had to get the bus from San Francisco. Although, I failed to realise that the bus stopped two towns over from Beacon Hills, so I was calling him to pick me up. I was leaning against the bus stop, the rain stinging my skin slightly with each harsh drop. The cold was intensified by the jarring breeze, biting me through my thin jacket, causing shivers to spread across my body.

After 10 minutes he finally picked up.
"Scott finally" I practically shouted over the pouring rain.
"Actually it's Stiles, Scott left his phone at mine"
"Oh"
"Are you okay? "
"Yeah. Well no actually, you see...." I quickly explained to him what had happened.
"I'll come pick you up"
"Really Stiles? Thank you so much" I rushed out
"It's no problem, I'll be there in 15 minutes okay"

A light blue 1980 CJ-5 jeep pulled up next to the bus stop. Stiles jumped out of his door and rushed round the front. He looked extremely different, not surprisingly since I hadn't seen him for years. He was fairly tall and despite having a smaller frame, had some slight muscle.

After staring at me for slightly longer than customary, he stuttered a nervous hello and grabbed my bag placing it in the back of his jeep. He opened the door for me and as I walked forward to climb inside, I tripped on my damp shoelace and plummeted towards the ground. He leapt forward and caught me in his arms, wrapping them around my waist. As I gazed up at him it was my turn to stare, which he didn't seem to mind. After a few seconds of studying each other, he pulled me upright and didn't let go of my hand as I stepped into the jeep. He shut my door and jogged to his side, quickly sitting down. He reached into the back to grab something and held it out to me. It was a lightweight hoodie, with three blocky stripes of yellow, grey and blue. I stared at him in confusion.

"You're soaked" he announced, breaking the silence. It was the second time he had spoken and I was already in love with his voice. It was fractionally higher than I expected yet it made my chest constrict every time he spoke.

"Th thanks" I managed to stutter out.

I peeled off my dripping wet jacket and placed it at my feet. Pulling his hoodie over my head, i immediately snuggled into its warmth. It smelt of vanilla and the woods. I inhaled deeply, before jumping out of my trance, realising he would probably think I was extremely weird. Luckily, he didn't seem to notice as he was repeatedly turning the key in his jeep, practically begging it to start. At last it gave a slight roar as well as a churning noise, which didn't sound very encouraging.

We talked the whole way back, he was shocked to find out that I've never watched Star Wars so I promised that we would have a movie marathon at some point.
"It's a date" he replied
I hardly had time to process what he said before he pulled up to my house.

"We're here" he stated
"Thanks so much Stiles, I don't know what I would've done without you."
"You would still be standing at a bus stop in the rain" he joked, which made me chuckle.

I pushed the car door open and hopped down. Stiles did the same, grabbing my bag on the way round. I lifted my hand to knock on the door as Stiles pulled out a key.
"You have a key? Did Scott give that to you?"
"No, I had one made" he brushed off casually.

I didn't have time to think it through as Stiles pushed the door open and we stepped inside. Scott was lying on the sofa watching some trashy action movie as he turned to face us. Upon seeing me, he leapt off of the sofa and captured me in a bone crushing hug.

"Scott" I choked out.
"Sorry, I was just excited to finally have my twin back"
"I missed you" I pouted as I ruffled his hair, causing him to pull me into a headlock.
"Not the hair" he growled playfully.

Stiles' dad called asking him to come home, so he reluctantly left, but not before putting his number in my phone. After that, I dragged my bag up the stairs and abandoned it in the middle of my floor. Mum was working the night shift so she wasn't here to nag me to unpack. I was about to change into pyjamas when I realised I was still wearing Stiles' hoodie. I replaced my clothes with some shorts and a tank top, but pulled the hoodie back over my head. I don't know why, but Stiles makes me feel safe and I got the same feeling wearing his clothes. I pulled the covers to my waist and drifted off to sleep thinking over the nights events.
