Claire reached for her phone as it beeped, picking it up to check her newest message. She smiled, but it soon faded, knowing that she didn't have any place to be happy with the Bellas new situation. She responded as happily as she could before tossing her phone back on her bed and hopping out of it. Today was the day that she made up with Jesse.

Turning a corner, she walked down the hallway until she came to a familiar door. She took a deep breath before raising her closed hand and knocking a few times. There was no answer.

"Jesse, I know you're in there, I can smell popcorn." She smiled lightly. There was still no answer, so she placed her hand against the door.

"Jesse, come on, open up. Please." She frowned. She heard a laptop close, and it was only a few seconds later that the door opened and there was Jesse, a frown on his face. He looked expectantly at her as he waited for her to say something. She took a breath.

"Hey... I tried calling you, I left a bunch of messages." She started. He nodded lightly.

"Yeah, I got them." He answered harshly. Claire bit her lip and glanced down momentarily before looking back up into his eyes.

"I'm sorry that we fought, I was mad and I overreacted, and I'm just- Aubrey makes me crazy." She apologized, smiling lightly. Jesse flinched.

"Seriously?" Jesse asked. Claire's smile slowly started to fade. "You think I'm mad because you yelled at me?" Claire paused.

"N-no! I know-" Jesse cut her off.

"No, you don't. You think you know, but you don't." He shook his head. Claire took a deep breath. "You push away anyone who could possibly care about you, and you don't let people close. Why is that?" He asked, looking hurt. Claire bit her lip and looked down.

"I don't know." She lied. Jesse looked at her for a few seconds.

"Well, you better figure it out because I'm done with... whatever this is." He shrugged.

"Jesse-" She tried to stop him, but he ignored her.

"I'm done." He closed his door as tears pricked at Claire's eyes. She wiped them away before turning and heading back down the hallway. She had one more thing to do before she lost everything.

Making her way into the Bellas practice building, Claire's eyes widened. The girls were all running around screaming and fighting each other. She began to jog faster.

"Guys, guys!" She yelled. None of the girls noticed her. "Guys, what is going on?" She yelled louder. All the girls stopped what they were doing to look over at her, one of the girls sitting up out of a big yellow puddle on the ground. It smelled putrid in the building, and she assumed it was from the puddle. Aubrey snatched her pitch pipe off the ground and stood up, followed by Chloe and Amy who were also on the ground.

"Nothing! Nothing. This is a Bellas rehearsal." She responded as she pointed at Claire. All the girls began straightening themselves out and taking their place behind Aubrey.

"I know, I just..." She trailed off as she looked between the girls. "I wanted to say that I'm sorry." She continued. Aubrey paused as she looked at Claire. "What I did was a really douchey thing, and I shouldn't have changed the set without asking you guys, and I definitely shouldn't have left." She nodded. All the girls continued to look at her as they cleaned each other off. "I let you guys down and I'm really sorry." She nodded, glancing down at the ground for a moment. Aubrey raised an eyebrow at her. "And, Aubrey if you would have me, I want back in." She finished. Aubrey looked down at the ground as everyone looked at her. Claire nodded and pressed her lips together, turning towards the exit. She looked back at Aubrey before grabbing a metal folding chair and continuing, dragging the chair behind her loudly.
