On the authority of Umar bin Al-khatab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Actions are but by intentions and each man will have but that which he intended."
عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَال :َ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم :َ إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى.
