I wake up, hair tangled and frizzy, breath smelling like pizza. I turn over, peacefully, to my side and focus my eyes on the red numbers, which shone from my alarm clock.

"HOLY MOTHERFU-"

"Ashton!"

"Sorry Mum!"

I rushed out of bed and sprinted to the closet grabbing black skinny jeans and the first tee shirt I laid my tired eyes on. I threw on the clothes running out of my bedroom grabbing my book bag and an apple as I head out the door of the apartment building.

I ran towards the bus stop, fixating my eyes on the bright yellow vehicle heading toward it.

I finally got there, out of breath, I looked up to check the road for cautions, before crossing.

There was not one running vehicle on the street, which should tell me to cross the road. But, the school bus is a running vehicle.

"Goddammit," I mumbled walking towards my building. I grabbed my bike from the bike rack, put my headphones on, and rode to school, alone. (2.1)

Lunch would usually be my favorite time of day. It was consist of Laila and I at our own table, laughing and socializing about the most random shít. It would mark the end of the day, since I had it as my seventh period, as this school has nine of them. It was when I can eat whatever crap I wanted. Sure, the cafeteria served horrible bad quality food, but our school had one thing, this one great thing:
the vending machine.

So, if you had some common sense, you would assume that day lunch would be fun.

Well, it wasn't.

I spotted my best friend across of the cafeteria as she walked in. She was frowning, which was odd of such a cheerful person, but I knew everyone has their bad days. I smiled and waved at her. She saw me, and waved back, but still not one look of happiness on her face.
She walked across the lunch room, but stop halfway across, and sat with some of her other friends. What is wrong with her today?

I got up, and started descending across the room to see what was wrong. But as soon as I got up, I bumped into someone.

"You little son of a bîtch," I heard an all to familiar voice say.

"I-I didn't mean to bump into. Sorry,"
I apologized, giving the person a little smile.

Justin is my best friend's boyfriend. I was so shocked to see him act like this. He was so nice to me, inviting me over to get to know me, invite me to his parties (even though I wasn't much of a party person), and even FaceTiming me when he was with Laila.

"No, you little douche I could give two shîts if you bump into me, you know why the hell I'm mad."

He's definitely acting weird today.

"N-no I don't."

"Oh, stop acting like you don't know what's happening you little theif."

It clicked.

"Justin, Laila is my best friend, we both don't like each other that way."

"Then why the fück did I get this?" He said showing me a picture, taken at the diner, of me smiling and blushing while she kisses my cheek.

I push the phone away from my face,
" Justin, that's not what it seems like-"

"What's not like it seems like? That my girlfriend is a lying whore?!
The only reason why I dated that little bïtch was to get next to you!"

Then the most unexpected thing in the world happened :

He kissed me.

Like any person would be, I was shocked. But before I can do anything I heard a gasp and turned around.

There she stood, tears forcing out of her eyes, lips quivering.

"J-Justin you w-were cheating on me with Ashton this whole time?" She managed to ask, choking on sobs.

We both stayed there silently gaping at her.

"Ashton! You Dïck! I hate you!" she said.

But before I could say anything, she was gone.
