"When will I see my grand babies?" I spurted the water in my mouth while there was a choking sound beside me.
"Mom!"
"What? I'm not getting younger baby I want to see my grandchildren soon." she smiled coyly.
"God, you're embarrassing me" tears falling down my face as I started to laugh uncontrollably.
"Whatever, and you. You will give me one soon yes?" She pointed accusingly to my husband making me laugh even more louder.
"We will see Ma'am" he smiled mischevously behind me and my laughing abruptly stopped.

Dinner was nevertheless entertaining when my mom comes over to visit and I'm not denying, I love her even more for that. She raised me as a single mother seeing that my birth father left me when I was only one year old. It was tough for a young girl not to have a dad beside her, I used to hate family days even up until now because of that. My mom gave me my dad's surname, maybe she still love him after all she's been through but I could only accept her decision to make her happy.
"Hey are you okay?"
We were currently watching the Enders Game when I accidentally zoned out. I looked into him nodding as I settle myself comfortable again beside him in the couch. Absentmindly he combs my brown hair through his fingers as he hum, making me fall asleep.

When I knew she was fast asleep I turned off the television and carefully carried her into our bed, laying her down as gently as I could. I can't help myself from grinning that a person like Blayne married a bastard like me. Me. Emmett Gray, God I knew myself she could do better but my egoistic and bastard side won't let her go.
It was so damn funny seeing her squirm beside me as her mom bombarded us about the "grandchildren," it shocked me too but she didn't knew Blayne was still a virgin. Yeah we've been married for almost 2 years now but we never did, well I never wanted too. Not yet.
I never spend Christmas with anyone but the first time we celebrated it I realized I'm hooked and really am in love with her. Shaking my head to get rid of what I'm thinking, I looked at her once last time before getting out of the bed and went to the office room.
