"okay guys, it's about 5pm, we should really hide now. he'll be back any minute!" kirishima said. i decided to hide in the closet with mina as i saw sero hide under the bed, and kiri lean against the wall hidden from the door and denki went behind the curtain.
today was the day of katsuki's provisional license exam and me and mina decided to throw him a small party to congratulate him.
"so how was your date with bakugou the other night?" mina whispered.
"it went really great actually. he ended up breaking the ceiling at the bowling alley." i giggled.
"that's great to you?"
"well no, but he did ask me to be his girlfriend."
"WHAT!" she yelled, earning hushes from the other boys.
"yeah i'm katsuki's official girlfriend now." i giggled softly.
"guys i hear footsteps! get ready!" kiri whisper shouted.
we all stood perfectly still, hearing the keys jingle and the door unlock. as soon as the lights turned on, we all got out from our hiding spots.
"SURPRISE!" we yelled in unison.
"AHHH! what the fuck?" katsuki said, obviously kind of scared. "how did you guys even get in here?" he put his bag down.
"perks of being the teacher's niece." i smiled as everyone pointed to me.
"of course it was you, nerd." he came over to me, giving me a side hug.
"look at the couple who should just get together already." sero joked.
i looked up to bakugou as he was already looking at me.
"actually..." he started.
"wait... you guys are?" kiri said, clearly looking more excited.
"are what?" denki asked.
"kaminari, you idiot. they're dating!" mina hit his shoulder.
they all cheered and gave us hugs and fist bumps.
"okay okay, this is sweet but the real reason we're here has nothing to do with our love lives but everything to do with bakugou's step forward to being the number one hero!" i said, clapping as the other's followed in my actions.
"whose idea even was this?" katsuki asked.
"me and amaya. mainly amaya." mina answered.
"i just wanted to let you know i was proud of you and that we should celebrate." i traced shapes on his chest as he still had his arm around me.
he looked around the room and clearly looked at our snacks, which was really just cookies and chips and sodas.
"well, if we're really gonna celebrate, i have something better than this." he removed his arm from me and headed towards the closet i was just in.
he moved some stuff from the top shelf and revealed various kinds of alcohol.
"sweet! alright!" sero and denki said, grabbing more of the ones he had in the closet.
"you drink?" i whispered to him.
"on occasion. when i feel i need it." he replied, lifting the bottles to show me. "why? do you not drink?"
"i mean i've tasted it but i've never gotten drunk."
"alright, well i don't wanna pressure you but the option is here if you want it."
