Chapter 28 - Graduation

Bridgette's pov

       Finally! Today was the day, I was going to be out of high school forever. No more getting up early in the morning, no more loud ass teens, no more annoying teachers, no more boring classwork and homework, no more pop quizzes and tests. I was ecstatic, so were Alison and Victor.

After the whole chaotic meeting we all had on Saturday, I stayed with Kendall at her house for the night and went home Sunday morning to the house. Mother was avoiding me, she would only say one word to me and then kept it moving,

I knew she was still upset about what happened, but I could care less. Me and Kendall were still planning on making things official today after I graduate. She said she was going to treat me to dinner as a congratulations present and a proper first date.

I was nervous and excited, I had already gone shopping with Kendall yesterday for what to wear. I picked out a baby blue dress that was not backless and went up to my knees. I matched it with white stockings and black heels with my hair straight and some light pink lipgloss as well.

Kendall would not let me see what she bought and I was annoyed. I showed her, why couldn't she show me, I begged her to let me see what it looked like. All she responded with was a 'wait and see', frustrated, I left it alone. She better look like a queen with all this mystery going on about what she bought.

Alison texted me saying that she and Victor were going to pick me up to go to the school. I would've gone with my mom, but I didn't want it to be awkward in the car.

''Ali, I'm coming right now, just adding the finishing touches on my make up''

''Okay''

I made sure that the dress was good and that my hair looked good. Since my prom got ruined by that weirdo, I had to make sure that my graduation would make up for it,

I thought of wearing my prom dress to graduation, but went against it because it seemed a little bit inappropriate to wear to a graduation, so I just bought a whole new dress. Of course it was blue since that was my favorite color.

As I was walking down the stairs, I saw my mom standing there with a camera in her hand and smiling at me. My dad was right next to her with a small grin as well on his face.

Quick update, my mom told him about me and Kendall, he was completely fine with it, which only irritated her more

''Dad, mom, how do I look?''

''Prefect sweetie, oh my god my baby is graduating from high school with all A's might I add'' my mom smiled big and hugged me,

''Look at my daughter, so beautiful'' my dad punched my shoulder and I huffed, mom rolled her eyes,

''Let me take some pictures of you'' my mom stepped back

''Okay''

My dad posed with me for a few, then my mom, and then me by myself. She took about like 10 pictures before she let me go,

''We'll see you there''

''Yes, mom can we talk real quick?''

She had a blank face and nodded,

''Damian, go wait in the car''

''K''

My dad hiked up his pants and patted me on the back. I patted his hand and he left without another word. I looked at my mom and she stood there,

''Bridgette, I've been thinking, this has been killing me. You ignoring me, I should be taking you to your own graduation, but I understand you're upset''
