As Heather sat in the front watching the galaxy in front of her she heard footsteps. She turned to see Peter. "Can I have my seat back?" He asked as she nodded moving to copilot.
"This is a cute ship by the way." She complimented but both of them knew it wasn't entirely a compliment.
"My ship isn't cute. It's manly and homey." He responded as Heather smiled and looked forward. They weren't good words to put together.
"So what's the plan?" She asked. He wlooked at her confused. "When we get to Xandar what's the plan?"
"Well I'm going to go in and get my units for the orb." He spoke as Heather turned her head to him.
"How many units do you want for it?" She asked as he looked at her.
"They're giving me 80,000." He told her. She couldn't afford that. She barely had enough units to get around. She questioned if the person he was giving it to could keep it in his possession safely away from Thanos. "You're not still planning on taking it are you?"
"I wonder if all humans listen to music. They probably do." She spoke as he looked at her.
"You're crazy. I can't believe you're still on my ship." He shook his head at her as he strapped into his seat.
"I was just asking a question." She defended herself.
"And so was I!" He answered looking at her agitated.
"I wonder if humans are all as frustrating as you are. I'm trying to do some good for the world and you're just trying to get money." Heather spat back.
"You stole the ship that you had to get to it! And then you were going to steal my ship!" He told her as she rolled her eyes.
"Because this is more important than ships." She told him calmly. It took a lot for the girl to raise her voice. She was raised by monks and everyone around her was twice her size. She had no reason to get too loud.
"Not to me." He responded. "When we get to Xandar I want you off." He spoke as he took control of the ship. Heather scoffed and stood up. She went to the back and sat with Bareet who wanted more than anything to be off this ship.
"Men. Am I right?" She asked shaking her head. Bareet nodded to her.
The rest of the ride was quiet as Heather tried to figure out what her plan would be. When she arrived to the planet she looked to Peter.
"So this is farewell." She smiled to him before patting his back. "I hope your secluded life away from everyone is dark and lonely." She commented before walking out of the ship.
"I might not know much of Earth, but if the Terrans are more like you, I'm worried for our race." He spat back as she stopped for a moment. Did he truly think she was that bad? She was trying to be good.
She kept walking straight and looked out at her arm piece. She turned it on and connected the tracker she put on Peter's back. She followed it and viewed Xander. It was a beautiful planet. The people seemed happy and content with life here. She'd never been able to stay very long in a place like this.
She noticed Quill in a store and she waited for him to come out. As she watched she saw a familiar face. Gamora. She was here just like she expected her to be except she could put on the ruse as someone who didn't know Peter.
She began to concentrate on what Peter was thinking. Other than his first thought being, "she's beautiful." He went on to think what he was saying which was. "The guy just backed out on a deal with me." And that was enough for Heather to head towards them. She noticed Gamora hit him and run with the orb in her hand. There was no way she could allow her to take it to Ronan so she ran after her. Thankfully Peter threw an electric lasso at her and she fell to the ground. Peter was in front of her and Gamora kicked him to the ground. The two fought there and Heather took it as a chance.
