It was an early morning on Titan. A girl, only eleven, stood feet together with her hands together in front of her chest. Her eyes were closed as she breathed finding her inner Chi, is it was called. As she stood there concentrating on only her breath she heard a grumble in front of her.

Her eyes shot open as her opponent charged at her. She lifted her feet up slightly going up into the air as the man ran under her. She landed gracefully back on her feet as she looked at him. A smirk played across her face as the man turned to her. She already knew that she won this fight.

He came for her sending punches which she dodged. Her master watched with a small smile. The girl was proving worthy. She continued to fight him when her master spoke. "Stop." They both froze in their positions.

"You may use your abilities." He spoke as the girl looked to him confused. She turned to the man in front of her as he motioned with his hands and soon he was glowing a reddish color. He laughed at her before she continued to dodge.

This didn't usually happen. She had always stopped when things became dangerous, her master never allowed anyone enough time to actually hurt her, but this man with one swing of his "abilities" sent her to the other side of the circular arena.

She feared for her life. She feared that her master would let her die. It had happened before to other trainees, she'd watched it, she'd even done it once or twice... as much as she hated to admit it, but she was young. She didn't understand. Her mind circled for an answer around what was happening to her.

She looked at the man and closed her eyes. She remembered her training. With the meditation she could unlock more to herself than she thought possible. She always thought he meant emotionally, but something in the young girl called her. It told her to go into this meditative state.

A green glowing ball surrounded her as her feet slowly left the ground. She floated criss-cross in this magical aura ball. Her eyes glowed green for a moment before she came back to the ground, putting her hands out to her sides.

"Yes. Yes!" Her master spoke as she took one more deep breath. She looked at the man and sent a blast of something out of her forehead. The girl wondered, did her master intend this? Was this normal? What was happening? It seemed though that she couldn't connect those questions into a sentence. Slowly the green glow that surrounded her went away.

She stood there her forehead now normal again and her body positioned in her meditation pose. She turned to her master shocked. How could he not tell her this is the power he meant? She looked at the man across her. He didn't move, she didn't think he ever would again. This was a strength she'd never seen.

"You have unlocked your abilities Heather. This will be your saving grace. You will protect our planet and many more to come. A natural born hero." He told her as she smiled to him. A protecter? A hero? That sounded good, in fact it sounded too good to be true, but she was eleven, she didn't realize that.

Not but a few years later the girl at such a young age was a master of her psionic powers. They allowed her to use her mind to move things, see things, and understand things at a greater extant then commonly found for a human. She was more powerful than some of the Titans, and they were meant to be stronger than anything that's ever existed.

In this she found pride. She knew her strength and she took advantage of it. Until one day when she couldn't be the protector everyone expected her to be.

Thanos, another Titan and the son of her master, Mentor, came back home. He spoke of equality, but not as any normal person would see it. He wanted to take over the world, randomly exterminating half of every population in the galaxy, including that of his home planet.

Titan was all Heather had, at least all that she could remember. That changed when Thanos showed up. The Titans fought with what they could, but it wasn't enough. That day he took everything and with that he showed her something else he had stolen from her, her family and where she had come from.

After learning of her life before Titan, finding out she had been taken from her home planet and that she had her memory wiped she revolted. Everything she knew was a lie and she only had one mission, keep Thanos from his.

Heather barely escaped Titan with her life, and Thanos had defenses against her. She fought for years, barely escaping each time until she had to go into hiding. Thanos has the upper hand against her, but of course, nothing lasted forever and Heather was not one to let that monster walk all over her.
