People say finding someone you love is the hard part... but actually it's losing that somebody. Nobody ever thinks about it, almost like a pet, you get one and love it for years and years and then what... it dies. Finding a companion is just the same though, you find one, fall "madly in-love" and then break-up or one dies. That's it.
I didn't always have this mindset, back in high school I went through boyfriends like trying on shirts in the morning. I never had to worry of the future and when the break ups would happen, I would be heartbroken but not for long. When you experience true heart break it last the rest of your life, it breaks your soul, always in the corners of your mind and every once in a while it rises to the surface and you relive those moments again. I don't wish heartbreak on anybody, the pain can be unbearable.
Allowing yourself to love somebody is the biggest risk that any one person can take... because in the end somebody always ends up crying.
