LAST PERIOD HAD ENDED WITHTHE RING OF A BELL AND NOW THAT SCHOOL WAS OVER, most students were off to do their own thing, that being; returning home, hanging out with friends or attending their extracurricular activities.
you belong to the last group, walking out of the school building with your hands tucked under your arms to warm them from the biting cold along with kiyoko when all of sudden it occured to you that you were tasked with picking up your younger brother up. with an apologetic expression, you wished her the best in dealing with the losers and headed straight out of the gate. you plugged in your earphones as you walked along the streets, and shuffled your mp3 to play some music, humming along to the tune of replay playing in your ears by shinee.
and with that you continued your journey to your brother's school.

once you arrived to the elementary school, you recognised your brother's figure waiting by the gate with another kid, most likely his friend from the looks of it as they chatted away while she made her way over.
you paused your music, pulling you wired earphones and stuffing it along with your mp3 into your pocket to greet your brother. taro, upon noticing you finally arrived to pick him up ran towards you excitedly, squeezing your waist in a so called 'hug' once he reached you. the air left your lungs with a wheeze but you managed to place your hand on his head and looked down at him with a soft smile.
"hey taro," you said "how was school today?"
taro beamed at you as he basically hopped in his spot "it was good big sis!" he affirmed "since mum was caught up at work, I had time to spare and takeru told me I should just join the volleyball club with him while you finished school." he informed you and your smile grew larger at his enthusiasm.
"great, another volleyball lunatic is just what i need in my life." you playfully groaned, pinching his cheek and he just stuck his tongue out at you. your attention withdrew from taro to look at the boy standing off to the side patiently waiting "taro, where are your manner? aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?" you ruffled his hair and he nodded, pulling away from the hug finally introduce the boy.
