I woke up tired as hell, and anxious. I hated the way I felt. I was two seconds away from emailing Asa to let him know I wasn't coming today. I didn't, I knew I would go crazy staying cooped up in my room. I need to do something to occupy my mind.

I put on some sweats and my favorite hoodie. I skipped breakfast because I didn't have an appetite at all.

I got there early, like usual but I still felt paranoid the entire walk there.

Terrance and Joe arrived at their normal time, and Asa came and got us. I went to look at the feeding chart, and noticed Asa eyes on me. I didn't say anything just kept on with our normal routine.

"Is there something wrong?" Asa asked me.

"Huh? Oh um, I don't know." I looked down.

"Well, you've been distant and constantly looking around. What happened?" Asa questioned with a cold glare.

I looked over to Terrance and Joe, Joe was looking Terrance wasn't, but I knew they were listening.

"C'era questo strano uomo nel caffè ieri sera."

There was a strange man in the café last night.

"Indossava tutti i vestiti neri. Indossava anche una maschera d'argento."

He wore all black clothes. He also wore a silver mask.

"L'ho visto dalla mia stanza più tardi, aveva due coltelli con sé."

I saw him from my room later, he had two knives with him.

"Now I could be over reacting, because you know people like playing cruel jokes on people. But it's the summer, barely any students are here. I legit thought I wasn't going to be here today. My anxiety has been killing me since last night." I said lowly

"Well you can leave early if you'd like." Asa offered.

"I want to stay occupied, and hope that whoever that was don't come looking for me. If they are someone dangerous, that is." I said.

"Quick question, you know any other language?" Asa had a gleam to his approach.

"Well I've been trying to teach myself ASL, I'm nowhere near as fluent as Italian. I can have a very basic conversation. I'm learning though." I said.

"Alright, I'll talk to security, you shouldn't have to worry about anything. I'll see to it myself." He gave me a tight lipped smile.

"Alright." I simply said.

Of course I was still going to be on edge, but to know that he'll talk to someone about help a bit.

I cleaned out some more tanks and checked on inventory. Making a note of it for Asa in the inventory chart.

Lunch came, but I didn't notice, until I heard the lab door close.

"It's time for your lunch break." Asa stated.

"I see that now, I guess I'll text my favorite food truck." I said.

"Yes, I'm meeting someone during lunch so no need to wait for me. Honestly, I may be back later. So if you'd like, you can just have the rest of the day off. I won't be back at the lab until later hours." He said.

"Alright. That sounds fine." I told him.

I pulled out my phone and texted the lady. I took all my lab gear off and headed outside, ordering my usual. I then went back to my room.

When I got there I changed my top and watched YouTube. When I got finished I left out and went to administration. Then checked the necessary paperwork I needed to have my apartment on campus.

After an hour long wait of filling out paper work, I got approved. I can start looking at the campus apartments.

I didn't have a car, so I rented a bike with my student ID and rode to the student apartments. I looked at a lot of them, but none of them I really liked, until I saw the houses.

I could get one of those if they're in the budget. The third one I entered was 3 stories, a garage was the first floor, and a half bathroom. The second floor was the kitchen, dining room, and living room, and the top floor had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms.

Surprisingly enough, I had barely enough money to live here. That just meant less money coming from my refund check. That's okay, I've been saving money.

I email administration to tell them which apartment I want. Considering no one is here at campus yet, I can have someone help me move all my stuff. Which isn't a lot of stuff to begin with. I schedule for this upcoming weekend.

I returned the bike, and realized my new house wasn't far from the science building. Only downside is no cafe, but I'm closer to actual restaurants. It's a fair trade.

It was already very late when I got back. I warmed up single serving of frozen lasagna I had. I ate, then took a shower. I fell asleep easy that night, nor did I think about that masked man.
