This wasn't anything new. Waking up in the middle of the night that is. Nightmares, that little voice in your dreams yelling "It's your fault! You killed him!"
Levi strode into your room, sitting on the edge of your bed. "Are you allright? I heard you yelling..."
You nodded a little
"L- Levi? How was your life before this shit?" You asked quietly, trying to distract yourself a little.
He shifted a little uncomfterble. "Not that good. Recovering drug addict, no girlfriend, alone." He muttered. "And you?"
"A week before this shit i was engaged..." you muttered, "But that bastard cheated on me with some secretairy from his work."
"Oh.... i'm sorry to hear that." He put a hand on your shoulder.
"It's fine, i was already wondering what i ever saw in him."
"Anyways, i should go and leave you to sleep." He slowly started to get up.
You however tugged him back, tightly wrapping your arms around him. "Thank you so much." You wispered.
He froze for a moment before hugging you back, wondering why he cared so much for a woman he just met.
